Sumter side trip
Great trip! I have wanted to see Fort Sumter for some time. Boat was clean and on time. I disagree with some of the other reviews which were critical saying trip was too short. I thought the length was fine. It is a very small fort and didn’t take long to see everything.

Make a point to visit
I had flown out to spend thanksgiving with my son who is stationed in Charleston. We had previously tried to visit Fort Sumter in 2020 at the onset of COVID so we weren’t able to do it then. 5 yrs later I bought tickets last minute and am so thankful that I did. Not only was it amazing from a historical perspective but the park rangers were awesome and made it so much more enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fort Sumpter
Excellent history talk on the way over to Fort Sumpter by the Park Ranger. Ferry clean and comfortable. Fort ruins well preserved with walking self guided tour.
