What are people saying about Berlin

Great afternoon with Reuben - well worth it
We had Reuben as a guide today. He was very knowledgeable, passionate about history, and very accommodating with the group. We saw so much, did not feel rushed, and appreciated the extra time he took. We both would place this tour as a highlight amongst all the tours we have done over the years. That says a lot considering it was a bit rainy all day. What a great afternoon.

This 6-hour tour gave us...
This 6-hour tour gave us time to spend more time at the prominent locations in Berlin and ask questions. Traveling as only a couple gave us the freedom to take a lunch break when we wanted and at the location we selected.
Paul Tobin was an outstanding guide. His knowledge of German history was very broad and his ability to provide information in an interesting, engaging manner was helpful to our ability to take everything in. We highly recommend Paul to anyone traveling to Berlin.

The Wonders of Potsdam: Architectural, Cultural and Historical
This was an excellent visit to Potsdam with a wonderful guide, Susan. She imparted all kinds of fascinating information without overwhelming the participants. I would only suggest that the tour be lengthened by one hour in order to allow time to get some lunch at a cafe in Potsdam - arriving back in Berlin at 2:00 without having had lunch was less than ideal. But that is really a minor quibble and I would strongly recomment this tour.

Alba was a great guide on...
Alba was a great guide on our bike tour .
She was extremely knowledgeable and could explain the significance of each stop is an engaging yet informative way .
The bikes were comfortable and easy to get around the city.
I would definitely recommended this tour if you want to orientate yourself with the landmarks and better understand the city's recent history.

Brilliant tour!
One of the best tours we’ve done! Jimmy was a brilliant guide, super knowledgeable giving just the right amount of information and history. Very engaging and great storytelling. Also had helpful local knowledge and tips on where to go and things to see.
Perfect for our family of parents and 13 year old child.

Amazing trip
We visited Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp today, and it was an incredibly powerful and moving experience. Our guide, Mikey, was outstanding from start to finish—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and respectful of the site’s history. He provided deep insights that really brought the stories and significance of the camp to life.
Despite the heavy subject matter, the tour was thoughtfully delivered and truly worthwhile. We came away having learned a great deal and with a much deeper understanding of this important place in history.
Overall, it was a meaningful and impactful visit—definitely a 10/10 experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area

Katia and the Potsdam tour were amazing!
I had a wonderful experience on Katia’s Potsdam walking tour. From the very beginning, Katia was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She has a real passion for the history and culture, and it shows in the way she tells stories and brings the city to life.
The tour was perfectly paced, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful sights while learning fascinating details about the city’s past. Katia shared interesting historical facts, and local insights. She was also very happy to answer questions and made everyone feel included.

Serious History, Expertly Guided
This was a deeply moving and thoughtfully curated day. My daughter and I spent the day visiting the concentration camp memorial and Potsdam, guided by Whalid, who was exceptional. He was highly knowledgeable, sensitive to the gravity of the sites, and able to explain the complex historical layers of Berlin and Germany with clarity and care. What stood out most was how attuned he was to our pace and needs — never rushed, always respectful, and willing to tailor the day so it felt both manageable and meaningful. An important, educational experience that we will carry with us.

Marco was excellent & knowledgeable of the history here in Berlin. Learned so much!!!
We had many obstacles because of the Marathon pre festivities but he navigated with expertise!! I am really happy with this tour & with Marco. Always asked if we had questions and gave us time to take pictures.

Great overview of Cold War Berlin
Jasper was a great guide who made the tour come alive for the group. He was very informative and very responsive to our questions.
The tour was well paced and Jasper was adept at keeping the group together, which was especially important as it involved travelling on the Berlin u-bahn to visit some of the sites. Although we had visited some of the sites before, Jasper gave us a deeper appreciation of Cold War Berlin.

Potsdam in a day
This was a lot of walking but we got a good overview of Potsdam and some of its history. Paul was a good guide and informative of the area. Difficult on a hot day with 20,000 steps by the end. Loved the Barberini museum. Didn’t do inside of palace but you would need to book that for a 2.15pm entry to the palace.

Do it!!
Amazing! So much fun!! Orlando was a great guide. I felt very safe and we got to see all of the sites. The cars are tiny and have no shocks, so you feel every bump. Who cares! Totally worth it. I’d go again in a heartbeat.
Don’t forget your license, and be prepared to make a refundable deposit (either 500 or 1500) to take the cars out.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
There’s plenty in Berlin to keep you busy, from its history to its nightlife, street art and cuisine. On Berlin day trips, you escape that urban energy and discover the historical attractions and picturesque towns that lie beyond the city; explore the UNESCO-listed palaces and gardens at Potsdam, visit the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum, or see Dresden’s baroque architecture and art collections. Many tours include round-trip transportation, expert guides, and skip-the-line access to attractions, so you can maximize your time outside the city, but return in time for dinner.
