Tour was awesome, guide was spectacular and extremely knowledgeable. But the bus had no wi-fi or ability to charge phones. It was an 12 hour tour so I had no phone for most of the day…. :(

Our guide Philippa and driver Markus made this a fantastic excursion. So knowledgeable. Being a British speaking guide was so helpful. Her history education made all the difference in the world. Markus sharing his story for escaping East Germany really put this area in perspective. The 2 of them made sich a wonderful team. We definitely will recommend them to all of our traveling friends.

Jonathan was our tour guide and was wonderful, he did a great job with managing approx 30 of us through the streets of Berlin. He was very informative and had extensive knowledge on the history of Berlin. The city was extremely crowded and noisy with tourists and traffic so at times it was difficult to hear Jonathan. Dont know if this is an option, but suggest starting the tour where it ended and finish where we started as it might be less crowded along the way. Either way, we highly recommend this tour.

We enjoyed this tour of Berlin. There is so much history in the city and Jonathan did a great job explaining so much to us. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. While we covered a lot, there is obviously value in travelling again to Berlin to see things more in-depth. In particular, at the end of the tour our time was a bit rushed at the Berlin wall as they were very focused on making sure we made it back to our ship on time. Would have liked to have spent more time there, but do appreciate their attention to making sure we didn't miss our cruise ship. Overall highly recommend this tour to get an overview of Berlin in the time allowed.

This was probably my favorite tour of the trip. We were a bit apprehensive about the long ride from Warnemünde, but it was WELL worth it. We got to see so many things. Guide Anne was a treasure, so full of information and so funny! The bus was clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend this your tour others.

A fantastic tour of the WWII history of Berlin and Germany. Our tour guide, Daniel was very knowledgeable of the detail of this history. He hails from Ireland, so it was a pleasure listening to him throughout the tour. He provided a great overview of things we drove past on our 3 hour drive from Rostock to Berlin and back. And he brought binders of newspaper articles and historic pictures to share with us along our ride and on the walking tours through the main attractions / memorials of the war years. It was a great educational experience that gave us a much better appreciation of Berlin and Germany during the war years and today. This was one of the best tour experiences I've ever had and I definitely recommend it.

Three hour bus ride. Our tour guide, Campbell, was very personable, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. Wish we could have seen more, for going so far, not sure if the weather played into that or not, it was raining/pouring. Lunch could have been a shorter time, (1.25 hr) so we could seen more of the city.

The communication was great. Received e-tickets after we booked (or could print them if you prefer a printed copy) and we received a text the day before our scheduled tour with what air conditioned bus we would be riding on to Berlin from the port. We could leave our things on the bus whenever we got off to walk to a historical site. Anne our tour guide told us some history of Germany and Berlin as we drove from the port to our first stop in Berlin. The bus does break for the bathroom and snacks on the way to and from Berlin. We ate lunch around 1:30 pm in a square that Anne recommended. Anne was very knowledgeable. We left the port at 8:30 am and returned at 8:05 pm with plenty of time before the ship left. I would recommend some euro currency for the bathrooms (1 euro at the first bathroom stop and some change at the bathroom stop on the way home) and lunch if you do not choose to sit at a restaurant to eat. For reference our lunch at the German restaurant was around $50 euro for 3 - .5 liter beers, a bowl of fries, 2 snack size schnitzels and tip. I would recommend this tour if you port at Warnemude.

This was a fun, educational, and comprehensive tour for half the price that the cruise ship charged. The tour left promptly and returned with two-and-a-half hours to spare before our departure, leaving us a bit behind f time to explore Warnemünde. Our guide, Anna, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel we got to see a good representation of Berlin even though we didn’t have a lot of time in each place. But with a 3-hour drive in each direction you have to make the most of it. I would definitely recommend!

Guide was very informative (Ann) and driver was very safe and professional. It was a rainy day but we still saw everything. My only disappointment was that we could have used more time at Checkpoint Charlie and the wall. We only had enough time to do one or the other. We could have removed the stop at museum square to allow more time at the later stop. My biggest worry was getting back to the ship on time. We made it back with 1.5hrs to spare! Overall great excursion.

One of the best tours I've experienced. I decided to reserve a tour outside from my cruise line excursions. This tour was educational, engaging and fun. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We got back to the ship way before it departed which eased my nerves.

Even though the bus ride was long the tour guide, Anna, gave us a lot of information and history about Germany and made the time go fast. Anna was very knowledgeable about berlin. The sites were great. We got back to the cruise ship by 8:30 p.m. plenty of time before the ship departure time.
