Long trip in bus, but worth it. Our guide Daniel was so knowledgeable and friendly it made our day. Berlin was great!

Gives a wonderful overview of Berlin. It’s a long drive to Berlin, but our guide was on the bus with us and made them pass by so quickly. Daniel was so knowledgeable and really added to the experience.

Excellent tour and tour guide, thank you for a great tour. Lots of stories about Germany history and today's life in and around Berlin.
John_R, Aug 2026
Although it was a gloomy rainy day, our tour guide Anna, kept the tour interesting with her vast knowledge of the area.
We got to see all the sites on our list.
Michelle_S, Jul 2026
Our guide spoke perfect English. He was very knowledgeable and communicated clearly and confidently, without using fillers like “um” or “ah,” which made the tour even more enjoyable.
Stephanie_F, Jul 2026
Daniel was very knowledgeable and was a great guide. Enjoyed the tour quite a bit. Bus ride was long (as advertised), but comfortable.
Kathleen_H, Jul 2026
It’s a busy day with not a lot of time at each spot but it’s a good, quick fly through of Berlin. Our guide had an encyclopedic of Berlin and Germany and she was happy to answer questions throughout the day. She was enthusiastic and her English was excellent.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Kathleen,
Thank you so much for your kind review!
We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day in Berlin and that your guide's knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable.
As you mentioned, this tour is specially designed for cruise passengers who have limited time in port, so our goal is to showcase as many of Berlin's highlights as possible while keeping everything on schedule. We're glad you found it to be a great overview of the city.
We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future!
Kind regards,
Natalia

Seamless excursion to Berlin. Our tour guide Glen was amazing and full of knowledge. Had plenty of time at each stop along the way.

It's a long ride but a great way to visit Berlin for the first time from a cruise ship. Guides are very knowledgeable.
Daniel_S, Jul 2026
The bus ride to Berlin was great!!! We appreciated the air conditioning. Our driver was very nice!!! Our guide took good care with us while we were in Berlin. He was very knowledgeable I am a WWII buff and enjoyed hearing about history.
Betty_J, Jul 2026
Guide was very knowledgeable. Share good information but maybe too much on buildings like current government buildings. We really enjoyed the history of government and history of government and facilities. But not the current stuff unless there’s a point to the history of Berlin. Otherwise very good tour. Wish we had more time to eat a lunch.
Tony_V, Jul 2026
Berlin is a must-see, even if it's a long journey from the cruise port! So many incredible sights await. 🤩 #Berlin
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Tony,
Thank you for your wonderful feedback.
We are delighted to hear that you had a great experience on our All-in-One Berlin Shore Excursion and that you found Berlin to be a must-see destination. It is indeed a city full of incredible sights, history, and unforgettable places.
As you mentioned, Berlin is a longer journey from the Warnemünde/Rostock cruise port, with the transfer taking approximately 3 hours each way due to the distance. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control, although we truly wish we could make the distance shorter for our guests.
We appreciate your understanding and are happy that you felt the journey was worthwhile. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you again in the future.
Warm regards,
Natalia

First time using non-cruise experience and husband was worried about getting back in time. Leave the doubts behind. Anne was our guide andthe bus met us directly outside cruise terminal. Gave everyone a bathroom break halfway to Berlin. Previous reviews gave mixed experiences about bus ride but Anne gave useful and revelant commentary during the ride. Once in the city we were able to see everything listed and much more!! Again our guide was like a walking encyclopedia for Berlin. Was able to get great photos and enough time for lunch around Monument of Murdered Jews. We were back two hours early and could have spent more time looking at points of interest. However, totally understand them ensuring everyone making it back to the ship. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Jim_A, Jul 2026
It was very well organized with respect to logistics and actual site visits. We were doing the excursion while on a cruise with the Carnival Legend. We were able to go to all the stops and have travel and break times within the time allowed. Our guide was well- prepared with knowledge at the sites and additional pictures and informational booklets while we traveled.
Andrew_E, Jul 2026
Took this tour from our Princess cruise ship independently. We were slightly anxious about the travel and needing to return to the ship on time- we needn’t have worried! We were met directly from the ship and our outstanding guide was already with us. A really nice coach was provided and we set off very quickly. The guide gave us an amazing commentary as we headed for Berlin and we were given a good comfort stop on the way. We soon reached Berlin and for the next few hours we were taken to the main tourist spots with great information and with easy walking. We had 45 minutes for lunch and then we continued into the amazing east side with the UNESCO heritage sites. After visiting Checkpoint Charlie we headed back to the ship, again with a comfort break. The guide was truly wonderful full of great information but also knowing when we needed some quiet! We arrived back at the ship with over 2 hours to spare but not really feeling having been rushed. Others who used the train/s were definitely not so well off. Fully recommend this trip and if you are anxious about missing the ship don’t be they guaranteed to get you back.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Andrew, thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! It means a lot to hear how reassured you felt from the very start. This is exactly the kind of experience we want our cruise guests to have. We’re delighted that the commentary on the way to Berlin, the comfort stops, and the balance between sightseeing and quiet moments made the long day feel smooth and enjoyable.
We’re especially happy you arrived back at the ship with plenty of time to spare — this is something we take great pride in for all our shore excursions.
Thank you for recommending us so warmly. We hope to welcome you back in Europe one day!

Great way to see the city with limited time. Great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about subject matter.
Jennifer_T, Jul 2026
It was a good tour. The guide was funny but didn’t give us a lot of information except for his life. We saw his home, where his theater was, where his daughter was, etc. Wish we had more information on the sites. He did show us a good restaurant that his friend owned. Food was great but expensive. He had a smoke and beer while we ate. Wasn’t what I expected.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that your experience.
However, after reviewing your comments, we would like to kindly double-check something with you, as your mention of a seated lunch does not match the structure of our tour. Our Berlin shore excursion does not include a seated lunch stop or an arranged restaurant meal, so we would like to confirm that this was indeed our tour you participated in.
Could you please confirm this for us?
Thank you again for your time and clarification.
Kind regards,
Vexperio

Absolutely excellent pick up from the cruise ship ride on the bus was good driver was excellent. Nick, our travel guide was phenomenal extremely intelligent really had his act together. Loved the iPad with the photos from past years.
Kyle_B, Jul 2026
Anne was such a great guide with deep knowledge of history but also the different areas of Berlin. A perfect tour after three days of port visits. The pace was nicely balanced with a nice stroll at one point. Lunch was quite rushed for the restaurants in the area, but was a very nice part of the city to experience a little bit of local fare.
Will_M, Jul 2026
Very interesting tour. Got to see WW2 areas of interest as well as Cold War history. Bus was nice and comfortable. Driver was safe. Tour was organized and informative. Our guide, Anne, was so knowledgeable. She gave so much information on the bus ride that it made the travel time go by fast. Very pleasant voice and just enough talking without overdoing it. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. We were back at the port in plenty of time. No worries for cruise passengers- book with confidence. We even had time to explore the port village which is also a must do.
Mila_K, Jul 2026
Good tour. Long boring ride from Warnemünde to Berlin And back. Could be nice at least play some recorded text or movie about Berlin and Germany. The guid was nice.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hello Mila,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
The journey from the port to Berlin takes approximately 3 hours, and this is clearly stated in both the itinerary and our pre-departure information. We are very sorry that the ride felt long. Unfortunately, this is the required travel time for this route and something we are not able to change.
We truly appreciate your comments, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the guide.
Best regards,
Natalia

This tour was great. It was 6 hours in the bus (3 hours to Berlin and 3 hours back). The bus ride was not part of the “tour” and no information was given. We picked the guide (Tal) up in Berlin. She gave a great tour. She was fast moving and showed us a lot.
Maria_f, Jun 2026
I have learned so much about the history of Berlin, their culture, lifestyle and as a country. Special mention to Glenn oit tour guide, Bus number 3 for sharing his knowledge and his insights with us.
Paul_A, Jun 2026
Be ready for about 7000 steps day. A bit of walking. Good history of Germany from Anne, bus trip was as briefed 3.5 hours. The free time in checkpoint Charlie area was pure touristy shops.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Paul,
Thank you very much for your review!
We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and the historical insights shared by Anne.
Just to add a small note: the Checkpoint Charlie area is also a convenient spot to grab something to eat during the free time. While the tour does include some walking, it is mainly between stops, as the itinerary also includes comfortable bus transportation throughout the day.
We really appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future!
Best regards,
Natalia

Wow what a full day! We had the best guide who knew everything about everything and we really enjoyed how he explained everything and answered our questions.
Bruce_R, Jun 2026
Excellent bus, guide used the 3 hr drive to educate on relevant history, geography and culture. Saw a lot in limited time available.
Marilyn_M, Jun 2026
Berlin is a beautiful historic city not to be missed! Our guide Tobi was excellent! He knew the city well and we had lots of fun. Vexperio made sure we were back to our ship with plenty of time left. Highly recommend this tour!
donaldharvey235, Jun 2026
Natalie the private tour guide in Berlin was Excellent! Super knowledgeable and interesting. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was I booked a completely private tour and things got messed up and we had to ride a big tour bus to and from cruise ship to Berlin. We also missed going to visit the concentration camp that we believed was part of our original tour booked.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hello Donald,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand your disappointment. However, as we can see from your booking, the tour reserved was the shared option in All-in-One Berlin shore excursion, which includes Berlin city sightseeing only and does not include a visit to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.
It also appears your booking was made through Viator call line, and we are extremely sorry if any information passed there was misleading. We will contact Viator to review this and ensure the tour description is accurately presented going forward.
We are very glad to hear that Natalie provided an excellent guiding experience, and we truly appreciate your kind words about her knowledge and service.
Thank you again for your feedback.

The actual tour location’s are fantastic — the process of checking in off the ship is chaotic and inefficient, the 3 hour drive is with a driver only who speaks very little English if any, the driver adds to the inefficiency by requiring a 20 minute break at the restroom stop half way to Berlin although the entire group was off and back on the bus in ten minutes. The first 20 minute stop was skipped entirely (IDK), the rest of the stops were out of order. Using restrooms , even at the stops, was a challenge because you didn’t know if the fee was a service charge or a tip and if it was waived if you bought something. All the other drive buys and stops were as described. 3 out of 5 because of content and how much ground tour covered. The minus 2 is because of inefficiency of time usage and proficiency checking in ….
My recommendation to improve the tour, provide a piece of paper with the stops and walk by locations listed. Have the tour guide ride from port describing the most important facts of the major stops and walk past.
He could do this from the rest stop into town.
This would free up time that could be used to absorb the actual locations instead of standing around listening to a lecture.
The final stop was museum island and 45 minutes wasn’t enough time to take pictures and scratchy the surface.
I believe with efficient onboaring, onboard explanations of stops during window time from cruise terminal, efficient bathroom stops …. An hour and a half could be utilized at the museum

Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Bradley,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are sorry to hear that certain aspects of the experience did not meet your expectations, we would like to clarify a few points for future readers.
Regarding the embarkation process, our hosts and vehicles arrive at the port approximately 30 minutes before departure, and guests are asked to arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled start time. On the date of your tour, you arrived significantly earlier than the published meeting time, before our team had begun the check-in process. While we understand that waiting can be frustrating, the tour departed as scheduled and all guests were checked in and accommodated successfully.
As clearly stated in our tour description, the guide joins the group in Berlin rather than at the port, and there is no commentary during the transfer from Warnemünde. The approximately 3-hour journey and scheduled comfort stop are also part of the planned itinerary.
Regarding the order of the stops, occasional adjustments may be necessary due to traffic conditions, local events, road closures, or operational considerations. These changes are made to ensure that guests can still experience all major highlights while returning to the ship on time.
We also note that public restrooms in Germany frequently charge a small fee, which is determined by the facility operator and is outside of our control.
We appreciate your suggestion regarding a printed sightseeing overview and will certainly take it into consideration.
We are proud that this tour currently holds a 4.7-star rating based on more than 300 guest reviews, and that many guests specifically highlight the itinerary, organization, and quality of our guides in their feedback.
Kind regards.

It is a long day going to and from the port but the trip is well worth the wait. Tobi, our tour guide was very informative and easy to understand. I think everyone enjoyed all the information and places we visited on this tour. Our driver did a great job getting us to Berlin and driving the big bus in and around Berlin.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are very happy you enjoyed the tour and had a great experience with Tobi and the driver. We hope to welcome you again in Europe one day!
