Pete our tour guide is very knowledgeable and helpful about the history of the memorial camp and the Potsdam Palace.I also like his British accent, I will definitely recommend this tour to my family and friends.

Visit to the Concentration Camp was an eye opener on how badly the inmates were treated.
Visit to Potsdam was interesting.
The city is beautiful....worth visiting.

Daniel was exceptionally knowledgeable about everything on our tour. He went very in depth into the background of both the camp and the palace grounds, as well as all the sites we passed on the bus in Berlin and Potsdam. Although at times it was a somber experience, as to be expected, he was able to walk us through with levity and bring forward the lessons we could learn into the modern day.

Potsdam was great, and the tour guide was generally good.. My main criticism is the guide talked so much at the concentration camp that we spent most of the time outside the camp and had virtually no time to check out the structures, which we were limited to seeing during the 15 minutes of free time he gave us. It made the overall experience somewhat disappointing.

Perfectly balanced day with the somber visit to the concentration camp memorial and the lovely palace and cute town of Potsdam. Peter did a great job with information and keeping the group organized and moving. Of course, we would have loved more time to explore each location, but with a short amount of time in Berlin, it was a great exposure to both.

Peter was FABULOUS! He did a great job, was very informative, had a great upbeat personality, and I loved how he interacted with us all. The only complaint was the fact that we also had a Spanish speaker on the bus. She took over the mic way too much, and we English speakers felt she overruled Peter. She talked on and on and on with the mic on the bus and left poor Peter with not much time to have a chance to tell us what we were seeing while on the bus. We felt we missed some key facts about the sightseeing on the bus part of our tour. Other than that, Peter was GREAT!

Peter our host was very good, He was very engaged and informative, however this tour had both Spanish speaking and English combined in the same bus. We feel we lost some of the important sights and information when the Spanish host was talking and vice versa. Also the Spanish speaker talked more. If I had know the tour was like this, I may have researched tours more. A headset would have been better to hear the entire tour in English

The operator changed the start time and meeting point and then continued to send emails with the incorrect meeting point. Two hours before the (new) start time, they sent an email, with the word “amended” and it referenced the original meeting point. We went there. The tour left without us and now aviator refuses to give us a refund

Additionally, guests were informed that any message received showing the previous meeting point should be disregarded, as the information was in the process of being updated.

This tour was one of the highlights of my visit to Germany. Visiting Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was a deeply moving experience and, in my opinion, something everyone should see to better understand Germany’s history and the consequences of human intolerance. In contrast, Potsdam offered a beautiful glimpse into another side of German history, with its stunning architecture, peaceful countryside, and remarkable heritage. The entire trip was comfortable, well-organized, and enjoyable. Our driver, Michael, was excellent, and our guide, Walli , was outstanding. His knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought history to life, and I learned more about Germany in one day than I ever expected.

We loved our leader Philip and his knowledge. I didn’t love the Potsdam part of the tour. Didn’t get to go inside the palace. Could have on our own but would have been nice to have been part of the tour. It is a cute town.
Must be able to walk and not a lot of places to sit if you do get tired.
I would recommend the tour just don’t expect to go inside the palace.

An absolute knowledge filled day. Walid crams as much knowledge in as he can and it’s well worth it. The whole experience is much better when off the bus and in the English speaking group. The Spanish group tended to not be quiet while Walid was speaking on the bus, so that puts a damper on things a bit. Overall a pleasant tour though.

This tours gives you a complete history of Berlin. You will see some devastating sites through to the most serene and breathtaking sites. All while bring guided and explained in great detail. Amazing tour guide Wiled. If you have limited time and can only do one tour, this should be it.

Wally was a fantastic tour guide. He was very informative and a great story teller. Really appreciated all the details we were given. It really gave us a good idea of the horrific things that happened at Sachsenhausen. The English and Spanish tour guides took turns offering information about what was seen while on the bus, but once we arrived at the destination we broke off into separate smaller groups. Make sure you eat breakfast or bring snacks on the bus, no opportunity for lunch until almost 2 pm.

This tour was super informative, and Peter was a great guide. The only slight downside was on the bus the Spanish and English guides took turns speaking. As some of the other reviews mentioned, it seemed like the Spanish guide did go into more details, but I don’t speak Spanish well enough to be certain that that was the case. While this tour didn’t feel too rushed, we definitely didn’t get to spend as much time as I wish we could have at Sachsenhousen.

Peter was an incredible guide! He was so knowledgeable and kept our interest as he helped us understand the atrocities that happened there. There were many crowds of visitors but Peter was able to make sure we saw everything and could hear all the information about this terrible time in history.

The tour itself was good. I already knew we wouldn't have a lot of time at both location so we knew the tour would feel rushed. However Roshana made this tour awful , a lot of us were very confused by her organization and the amount of information that was provided was minimal. I speak some Spanish so I could tell the Spanish guide went into so much more detail, explained the plan, and was thorough. But she one left us all confused by what the plan was, time management, and she struggled even with explaining basic history. It was even worse towards the end of the trip where she kept running off, rushing people, and we were left confused by what we were even doing. What was even more bizarre, she kept trying to send people away to a random cafe then take others to explore more areas. Her time management is awful. We were running late in both the camp memorial and the old town we just most of the time chasing after her. Since I already read the reviews previously I knew what to expect with the difference between Spanish and English group. But this was way worse than I expected. If we have a different guide, the rating would be higher. Unfortunately Roshana made it fully unenjoyable.

This was a deeply moving and thoughtfully curated day. My daughter and I spent the day visiting the concentration camp memorial and Potsdam, guided by Whalid, who was exceptional. He was highly knowledgeable, sensitive to the gravity of the sites, and able to explain the complex historical layers of Berlin and Germany with clarity and care. What stood out most was how attuned he was to our pace and needs — never rushed, always respectful, and willing to tailor the day so it felt both manageable and meaningful. Very informative regarding history of Berlin, Hitler and the Nazi’s (fascism) versus Stalin (communism) and early Empires shaped the city and global politics. Very educational about what happened at Sachsusenz… who was held there (when and why), the concept of concentration camp versus extermination, how and when the mindset changed from one to the other. Horrible time in world history that must never be forgotten. Guides were personable and thorough (Mattias and Roshana 👍🏻)
