An excellent day spent getting to know Berlin in a small group.
Marco was a brilliant guide-great fun, and extremely knowledgeable. We covered quite a lot of highlights at a very easy pace, and learned so much. A far better way to introduce yourself to a city than a hop on hop off bus tour!!! Thanks Marco and Fat Tire!

Itinerary
Meet and greet the tour guide and group in Alexanderplatz, a large public square and transport hub in the center of Berlin. After getting fitted for a Beach Cruiser bike and helmet, there is a brief introduction to Berlin before beginning the ride around and the capital city and cultural center of Germany.
Because there is so much to see in Berlin, this tour takes advantage of the many bike paths the city offers. More than 95 percent of the tour takes place on bike paths and through parks. Also, Berlin is quite flat and easy to traverse by bicycle. With frequent stops to learn about the sites and to take pictures, it all makes for a most enjoyable way to explore this fascinating place.
See one of the last remaining sections of the Wall itself. Stand above Adolf Hitler's bunker and recount the final days of the Third Reich. Check out Checkpoint Charlie, the best-known crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War.
Pedal to the famous Brandenburg Gate, one of Berlin’s most important monuments. It was a symbol of division between Berlin and Germany during the Cold War, but it is now a national symbol of peace and unity. And visit the Reichstag Building, the meeting place of the German Parliament.
Ride through the beautiful Tiergarten Park, Berlin's largest and most popular park. Then stop at a beer garden for lunch (own expense) to experience Berlin as the locals do (full-day tour only).
Other stops on the tour include Museum Island, with its collection of five world-renowned museums; Potsdamer Platz, a public square and traffic intersection in the center of Berlin; Gendarmenmarkt’s German and French cathedrals and much more.
Throughout the tour, the guide provides ample information about Berlin’s past and present—and maybe even offers some insight into where the city is headed in the future. It’s a great introduction to the city of Berlin and all that it offers its visitors and residents alike.
The tour ends back at Alexanderplatz.

A great way to see Berlin...

A great way to see Berlin in a day with a very knowledgeable tour guide, much better than walking all day. Our tour guide was Yael, a 34 year old woman from Israel who had immigrated to Germany a bit over 3 years ago. She was charismatic and passionate with a wealth of knowledge to impart on us. Apparently in addition to being a tour guide she worked the improv clubs as a standup comic and of course supported herself as a waitress. I would highly recommend the tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Yael as your guide

We loved the ebike as it was cooler. We enjoyed the 5 hrs and beer garden lunch. Had a very nice and knowledgeable guide. He took great care of us. I would never have tried biking Berlin without a guide. We covered a lot of ground and learnt a lot of history. Absolutely fabulous tour.

Fantastic Bike Tour Experience in Berlin
We had a great experience with Fat Tire on our bike tour through Berlin. The tour was well-organized and informative, even though the weather wasn’t on our side. Luckily, the team came prepared with all the necessary gear to make the ride safe and enjoyable.
A special mention goes to our amazing guide Alba, who delivered detailed and engaging explanations at every stop. Her knowledge of Berlin’s history and landmarks was impressive. She was also supported by her assistant Yamel, who contributed to the smooth flow of the tour. Together, they made a great team—knowing exactly where to take us and how to bring the history of the city to life.
Despite the cloudy skies, we had a memorable and enriching experience. Highly recommended!

We had a fun and professional guide, Rhys, he had excellent knowledge of historical, political, social and cultural events which created the Berlin of today. Great value, 6 hours of true entertainment jam packed with information, facts and a few good yarns!
Fun and informative

This was a great fun way to get round many of the must see sights in Berlin. We toured with Thor who was a great guide. He gave us a “history lesson” which was interesting and easy to understand. This was our first day in Berlin and it gave us an overview and an idea of the sights we wanted to visit in more depth over the next couple of days. Thor also spent time giving us suggestions of other things to see and areas to visit which were off the tourist track.

My partner had business in Berlin so I tagged along and toured the city while he was at work. the day-long bike tour was the perfect introduction to the city. Sam was so knowledgeable and kind - he answered our many, may questions and kept us clear about the rules of the road in Berlin. This tour was totally worth the price. Thanks!

We went on the 6-hour English tour with Nick— it was fantastic! He really knows the history he talks about and he’s clearly in love with Berlin. He’s very enthusiastic and fun to be on tour with. He’s also very kind and caring, as I had an incident with my pants catching in the bike, and he offered to get ice, to have someone pick me up, to stop the tour. Very kind. None of that was necessary. Loved this tour!!!!
Amazing tour!
