Ensured we had a fabulous day in Berlin.
We certainly were well informed at major points of interest, plenty of time for photos and a break for lunch.
The travel to and from the cruise terminal was very comfortable and again lots of information about Germany and the sounding countryside was provided.
Highly recommend to do this tour.

This was the perfect glimpse of Berlin. Our tour guide Ann was very knowledgeable and walked us through everything. We had enough time at each stop to take pictures, buy souvenirs, eat at a local spot (designated hour break), and use the restroom. I definitely recommend this tour to first time travelers to Berlin.

It was a great experience! Our tour guide took us to so many sites and was very detailed. We stopped for photos and the necessary breaks along the way. The drive time makes it a long day, but the convenience of having arranged transportation makes it worth it. I would recommend bringing snacks and a neck pillow for the drives.

This was a fantastic tour. The guide met us at the port and all along the way into Berlin gave short talks to give historical and cultural context. It was a rainy day, but the guide and bus driver worked together to maximize opportunities to see things from the bus and off the bus as comfortably as possible. It was an orderly and enjoyable trip for our whole family. Highly recommend.

Ben Fisher was an outstanding guide and made this cruise-port excursion to Berlin both informative and enjoyable. His historical knowledge and engaging storytelling brought each landmark to life. The tour was very well organized from the moment we arrived at the port, and the local staff coordinating guests and transportation did an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly. Despite temperatures reaching around 30°C, the experience was comfortable, and having only about 30 guests on a large coach made for a relaxed and enjoyable day. Ben struck the perfect balance between providing historical context and allowing free time to explore, making this one of the best shore excursions we’ve taken and an excellent way to experience Berlin in a single day.

Glenn was our tour guide on this trip to Berlin. He brought a personal touch to the trip. He gave personal experiences and stores, along with showing historical pictures to compare to the modern spots we visited. We knew the tour would drive by many locations, rather than stopping, but he made sure to give full details and stories to connect the site to current and past highlights. The city is more modern now since the rebuild after WWII, but the tour brings to life the history of the German capitol.
We would recommend this trip compared to the cruise trip that is twice the cost. With a family of 5, this was the best, and most comfortable, option for us. A big concern was making it back to the port in time. We have more than enough time to still walk into the port city of Warnemunde before getting back on the ship.

Our guide in Berlin, Scott, was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable without being too academic. He was genuinely interested in his subject but he was equally as interested in the people in his tour group. He took the time to get to know people to ensure they got as much as they wanted from the experience. Our only problem was the check in process. We arrived very early to the meeting point, checked out. Names off with a female staffer and was told our bus was late. When it arrived we got on. Apparently we had not been marked off. However I do appreciate the effort Viator did make to contact us. The problem was we did not have wifi so we did not get any of the messages till later. We did have a great day and loved the sights we saw in Berlin. I had no concerns about not being returned to our cruise ship on time. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was excellent, only that the tour guide should have wore a small loudspeaker so that participants around him could hear him well & enjoyed the narration. The people near him got all clear information. Another suggestion is that the tour guide also carry a colour banner as he moves around. Thank you.

This tour was very good. We visited many historical places and landmarks. We rode on a new air-conditioned coach type bus with an excellent driver. He not only got us to Berlin safely but he also ensured that we returned back to port in timely manner. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us interested the entire time. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to tour Berlin for a day.

The excursion was a good overview of the historical points of German history. Our guide was an English gent who had been living in Berlin for over 20 years. He was very knowledgeable, affable with a wry sense of humor. Certainly good excursion. However the ride to Berlin was close to 2.5 to 3 hours back to the cruise port at Warmunde. The excursion in Berlin was great but not the trip back.

Jonathon, tour guide, wasted precious time talking too much. History books exist. We ran out of time at the end when we could have seen checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, and the terror museum. Jonathon needs to be told that people are there to see Berlin not to hear him. The only thing we saw at the terror museum was the bathroom, we did not see checkpoint Charlie at all, and had ten minutes at the Berlin Wall.

Unfortunately, the day of your tour was heavily affected by traffic. As we communicate in advance, the itinerary may be adjusted when necessary to ensure all guests return safely to the ship on time. While this meant less time at certain sites, guest safety and timely return are always our top priorities.

Great trip to Berlin! The busses were right outside the terminal where we docked. Departed on time and it was a smooth, comfortable ride to Berlin. Plenty of bathroom breaks. We arrived back to port an hour before departure. Anne was an amazing guide and made the long journey fun and engaging. Great history lesson! Plenty of time for lunch on your own and shopping.

She was also very patient as we had a group on our tour that apparently didn't read the description and just thought this was a German beer tour (which it is clearly not!) and kept interrupting her asking for a beer stop.
