This tour was very good. We visited many historical places and landmarks. We rode on a new air-conditioned coach type bus with an excellent driver. He not only got us to Berlin safely but he also ensured that we returned back to port in timely manner. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us interested the entire time. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to tour Berlin for a day.

The excursion was a good overview of the historical points of German history. Our guide was an English gent who had been living in Berlin for over 20 years. He was very knowledgeable, affable with a wry sense of humor. Certainly good excursion. However the ride to Berlin was close to 2.5 to 3 hours back to the cruise port at Warmunde. The excursion in Berlin was great but not the trip back.

Jonathon, tour guide, wasted precious time talking too much. History books exist. We ran out of time at the end when we could have seen checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, and the terror museum. Jonathon needs to be told that people are there to see Berlin not to hear him. The only thing we saw at the terror museum was the bathroom, we did not see checkpoint Charlie at all, and had ten minutes at the Berlin Wall.

Unfortunately, the day of your tour was heavily affected by traffic. As we communicate in advance, the itinerary may be adjusted when necessary to ensure all guests return safely to the ship on time. While this meant less time at certain sites, guest safety and timely return are always our top priorities.

Great trip to Berlin! The busses were right outside the terminal where we docked. Departed on time and it was a smooth, comfortable ride to Berlin. Plenty of bathroom breaks. We arrived back to port an hour before departure. Anne was an amazing guide and made the long journey fun and engaging. Great history lesson! Plenty of time for lunch on your own and shopping.

We really enjoyed the trip. They picked us up promptly and had us back at the ship in plenty of time.
The history was amazing!
Anne was very knowledgeable.
She was also very patient as we had a group on our tour that apparently didn't read the description and just thought this was a German beer tour (which it is clearly not!) and kept interrupting her asking for a beer stop.

Terrible, not organized, not knowledgeable guide. No headphones for such a big group. We spend most of the time trying to not to get lost. I definitely not going to recommend this excursion.

The experience was organized and we had a wonderful day seeing Berlin. The bus picked up and dropped off right at the cruise terminal. This is a great experience for those that want to see as much of Berlin as they can in one day while traveling on a cruise. Walid was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable, whitty, and kept the day entertaining!
Aside from the historical elements he shared, he also gave us time for pictures and taking each stop in.

PRIVATE TOUR WAS GREAT!! We did the bus ride into Berlin and then switched to a private tour. If you can afford the private tour the entire day I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT! The bus was slow (both driving and getting loaded). Jamie was our tour guide and Marcus was our driver. They are both great.

This tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The sign was clearly marked and they met us right at the port. The bus was very comfortable with air conditioning and reclining seats. Matt, our guide , was extremely knowledgeable and gave us tons of information including visual aids. He made the trip even better. I highly recommend this experience!

This was a great experience. Our guide, Matt, is very knowledgeable on Berlin. Being British meant no problem with understanding his narrative.
The bus trip from our anchorage was long but the driver did make a rest stop at about the halfway point allowing leg stretches and necessities.

Although there was a lot of walking for someone with mobility issues, it was very interesting. Our guide Matt was so personable and informative. I do wish he had used a microphone as I was usually in the back of group due to slow walking with rollator. Was hard to hear him. The driver was excellent and got us back in plenty of time for all aboard at 9:30 pm...and safely!

We visited all the main historic sites and received valuable onsite from our Tour guide Matt. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and provided us with some detailed outlines of historic events that impacted each area we visited.
We were picked up at the Cruise Terminal on time at 7.30am and arrived back at 8pm, well before Onboard time of 9.30pm.
Our biggest fear booking this long day tour to see Berlin was making sure that an independent tour operator would get us back in time . The Viator/ Experio team were very experienced and well organised . Our bus driver Uli, kept us safe and got us through some heavy traffic delays we left the City. A long but wonderful day. Campbell did a fantastic job. He really went all out his his history, stories and photos. He seemed a little rushed and we didn’t really have time for questions. He gave us some free time but didn’t really explain to us where we were. He also forgot his umbrella and seemed a little miffed when people couldn’t find him.

It's a long bus ride from the port, but our guide made it fun and informative. We stopped for bathroom breaks. The tour of Berlin was very interesting. I feel like we had a good overview considering we only had one day there. Highly recommend.

What a great time with Matt in Berlin. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge of Berlin’s history and gave good insights of Germany during World War II and the aftermath. Loved seeing what was left of the Berlin Wall and checkpoint Charlie.
