Stories of courage and tragedy in outstanding tour of Berlin Wall and Cold War
This was a top notch tour! Cairan Ryan is an outstanding tour guide and I highly recommend his Berlin Wall Cold War tour or any other tour that he leads. He is an incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, energetic, and attentive tour guide. We learned a great deal about Cold War Berlin, the Berlin Wall, and the important roles that these things play in Berlin today. Cairan made the complex history of the city, including the division of Berlin into different sectors, understandable for us. He vividly described and conveyed the courage and tragedy of events linked with the Berlin Wall. He is especially talented at showing the spatial relationships between the architecture and geography of the city today with that of the past. I only wish we had time to take additional tours with Cairan! The tour was a rich experience and a highlight of our Begin trip! I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Great tour - I’m terrible at titles.
Loved this tour. Rob our guide was fantastic! He really knew what he was talking about and his passion for the topic was engaging and infectious - it really makes a difference having a guide who is genuinely enthusiastic about what they are sharing. Won’t deny being able to share some cultural references as an Australian solo traveller was nice. I appreciated the chance to grab a hot choc and a snack midway through! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Great alternative tour of Berlin
Rhys is a fantastic guide. He was perceptive and informative- exactly what you want in a guide. He put everyone at ease. We learned and laughed a lot. I felt I could ask him any question about the city and would get a thoughtful response. Highly recommend!

This tour was excellent-...
This tour was excellent- the guide provided many interesting details on the drive to Potsdam, and Sans Souci was fascinating (with a lot of information about Frederick’s life at the palace). On thee return trip, hearing about AVUS and seeing the grandstand was fascinating.

Outstanding Tour Experience
We had an awesome adventure with Natalia, our private tour guide. Not only did she take the time to understand our interests and preferences, but she also put together a masterful itinerary tailored just for us. From sharing the history of the Brandenburg Gate to guiding us through the beautiful scenery and vibrant atmosphere of the Hackeschen Courtyards, every moment was memorable. She even introduced us to currywurst! It was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend Natalia to anyone visiting the city!

Informative with a wonderful guide
Roshana was an excellent guide… extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions we had. She kept us on track with the time of the tour and was helpful with transportation back to where we needed to be after the trip. I highly recommend this tour and Roshaha.

Must go
Emma is amazing. She is not earned a degree university degree in German studies, she also has a passion for German history. She is a great storyteller and shared alot of facts and stories that made the tour interesting. She encouraged questions and conversation and took good care of the group. She kept some of the tour light as well as this is an extremely difficult subject. I highly recommend the tour with Emma specifically.

Exceptional thanks to our tour guide
I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my tour. It made me wish I’d booked one longer than two hours. Our guide Dylan was exceptional. He is so well versed in German history that not only was the tour fantastic, but he was able to successfully answer every question raised by the group. Everything was delivered in a conversational manner, with a real grounded feel to his presentation. Honestly, if all walking tours were like this, I’d do them in NYC where I live. Dylan also took time to suggest other places and restaurants to visit in Berlin, even ideas like making sure to catch the sunset in a nearby park. This tour was the best part of my time in Berlin.

Potsdam Comes Alive with Reuben’s Stories
We had a fantastic walking tour of Potsdam with Reuben! The experience was both very entertaining and highly informative. Reuben brought the city’s rich history to life with his engaging storytelling and deep knowledge of the area.
Potsdam itself is absolutely beautiful—full of stunning architecture, charming streets, and fascinating landmarks. The combination of great company, a passionate guide, and such a picturesque setting made for a truly memorable experience.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Berlin area—this tour is a perfect way to discover the beauty and history of Potsdam!

An absolute must tour. Lewis is great.
It’s very interesting tour. Lewis is absolutely good and very friendly. Very knowledgeable and professional. The tour itself was compelling. Lewis is very understanding. It was really cold and I was under dressed but Lewis allowed me to buy a jacket first and let me catched up later.

Lovely way to see Berlin
We had seen Berlin from the land on a bus and we had seen it from the air at the top of the TV Tower, so what better way to finish our 4-day trip than by seeing Berlin go by from a river boat on a beautiful, sunny Sunday evening. Our boat floated serenely up the river towards the centre of Berlin while our glasses were kept full and a delicious 4-course meal was served. We started with bruschetta, followed by a delicious yogurt, cucumber and dill refresher before the main course of beef cooked in beer with potatoes and vegetables. The whole meal was rounded off with a coffee parfait. All the time we were eating there was a bilingual German/English commentary to accompany the trip but, unfortunately, it tended to be drowned out by a boisterous group of a dozen Australians at the front of the cabin. They did quieten down when asked but the noise level soon ratcheted up again and I gave up listening, which was a shame. However, this did not detract from a lovely experience which I can thoroughly recommend. The icing on the cake: I had forgotten my backpack on the boat, but the lovely lady who had been serving the food and drink (I’m sorry I did not catch her name) came to look for me on the bank where we were waiting for our taxi. Fantastic service all round!

FUN experience - but you need cash up front.
Super fun experience, where you get to drive passed the sites of Berlin. A tonne of fun in some zippy little buggies.
However you do need to have a security deposit of 2000 Euros up front which you aren't told until confirmation. This may catch alot of people by surprise like it did us.
You won't learn anything on this trip- as it is purely a drive around tour. I do recommend it- just don't approach it with expectations of it being super informative.
