RobertoJose_C, Mar 2026
Roshana knows her stuff, very knowledgeable...thank you! The only part of the tour I was not aware of was the purchase of the bus/train ticket. Not expensive at all, but would have been ideal to know this detail beforehand.

Horrible Experience

Ariel_Z, Mar 2026
Very disappointing Sachsenhausen tour. The guide was not qualified and did not have proper guide credentials. He lacked the sensitivity required for such a serious subject, was overly agitated and difficult to follow, and stated that he believes something like the Holocaust will happen again. Really terrible experience, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Roshan has amazing knowledge and made sure we don’t miss anything. Would recommend using make sure you take snacks and drinks

Guide was a no show Zero communication

Marie_W, Feb 2026
Guide never showed up. Zero communication even after to apologize, at least. It was impossible to contact the organizer (I both called and tried to email), and it was a pain to get the tour reimbursed. I was planning on doing another tour with this company while in town, it sure won't happen now.

No Show

Our tour operator did not meet us at the designated location despite the fact that we were early. Also did not respond to text via Viator. Put a real damper on our day very very disappointed.

Great tour!

Informative with a wonderful guide

Cynthia_C, Nov 2025
Roshana was an excellent guide… extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions we had. She kept us on track with the time of the tour and was helpful with transportation back to where we needed to be after the trip. I highly recommend this tour and Roshaha.

Anna was the perfect guide! Incredibly knowledgeable and informative. Presented us with a carefully thought out timeline of historical details. It was a day i will never forget

A great experience!

The experience with Siobhán was a total blast!! She made the experience so much fun! She is very knowledgeable & very much attentive to others along with being detail oriented! When she first saw me and said: “are you Olivia…?” I knew I would have a great time! Her passion for her job along with making sure others are helped is such a great way to experience a tour in such a caring way! She has a great sense of humor and she is definitely one of those individuals that will know how to help you! Very caring, very professional— most heartbreaking tours I have ever accomplished— and yet so much needed for the knowledge & for the appreciation we truly have in the world today! Amazing tour guide! :)

This is a really interesting day out. Very informative but of course also sad. It was my favourite day in Berlin and would 10/10 recommend. Our guide Anna was amazing! She is so knowledgeable on the subject and very passionate about it. She had the perfect balance of the seriousness of the awful things that happened here whilst also making it enjoyable and engaging.

Roshanna was a great tour guide. She was extremely helpful in ensuring that my friend and I had the proper transit tickets and was great in getting us to our destination on the public transit system. Her tour was very informative and she was able to pack in lots of information in the time that we spent there. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit this location.

Really enjoyed the tour. Roshana guided us through the difficult subject matter with great knowledge and understanding, despite the rain! Would recommend this for anyone with an interest in history that’s visiting Berlin.

Anna is great

Kasim_M, Oct 2025
Anna was extremely knowledgeable and a great leader! She explained every question that was asked very clearly and intelligently as well.

Informative and intense

James_F, Oct 2025
Anna was a magnificent tour guide, she didn’t hold back from the grizzly details of the horrors that occurred on that site, but also linked it to the climate of today which really struck a chord. She made a great effort to get to know everyone personally and was able to answer every question and query with detail and professionalism. This was needed in a location such of this. Would definitely visit again when next in Berlin.

Kathy_Z, Oct 2025
Be sure to read the section about needing train tickets and lunch. Our guide was difficult to understand with her accent, tended to repeat herself, told us she would give us more information than the exhibit which is clearly not true, and seemed distracted by seeing some of the other guides with their groups. There was no time to rest and eat lunch, and no place to eat lunch except outside, which was very cold and windy.

Sebastian the great!

Sabrina_M, Sep 2025
Our tour guide Sebastian was very knowledgeable in many different countries and cultures. He even reminded my husband of one of Haiti Presidents which was about 30 or 40 years ago, that my husband had forgot. He is well versed in German the culture and was able to answer all of the question that we had about the concentration camp.

Excellent experience

Lauren_W, Sep 2025
Miguel was an amazing tour guide. Visiting a concentration camp is such an emotional experience and Miguel was very knowledgeable. He was patient with all of our questions. He went above and beyond to explain the many layers of history that tie to how these concentrations camps began, existed and functioned.

Very interesting and moving but a lot of walking, just getting to the camp. Really need to be able to take a bus

A must visit in Berlin

Danica_M, Aug 2025
The visit to the Sachsenhausen camp was definitely a powerful and worthwhile experience. The weight of its history does make it a heavy day but its important to visit and learn the history. Our guide Siobhan was excellent, she shared insights and stories that went far beyond what you could learn from the plaques alone. Great day!!

I learned something I didn’t know

MADO_N, Aug 2025
1. I chose English speaker because I speak English. 2. I needed train tickets but I didn’t know; I didn’t do my due diligence, so besides the event tickets, one needs to buy its own train tickets to get to the camp. 3. From the train station to the camp we walked for about 20 minutes, and on the site we called a lot. I have knees issues so I had to shorten my visit and went to sit at the exit and waited for my group to come. I didn’t bring lunch, but that’s was ok, I needs to loose few pounds; in the state I work from home and I eat a lot.

Absolutely fantastic day tour

faith_K, Aug 2025
This was a great day. Sebastian was a brilliant guide- knowledgeable, informative, sensitive and funny when appropriate. I’ve not been on a guided trip like this before, and had previously visited Sachsenhausen independently. I was with my 15 year old son, who is interested in WW2 history, and he had asked if we could go with a guide rather than by ourselves. I’m so pleased we did it, as Sebastian was able to share stories and insights that we’d otherwise have missed out on, and he raised thought-provoking questions that I am sure we will be returning to over the next few weeks as the day sinks in. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend Miguel's Sachsenhausen Tour

Sinead_M, Aug 2025
We would highly recommend the Sachsenhausen tour with Miguel. He spoke with passion and expertise on such a sad part of history. He is very knowledgeable, well read and articulate. He was also very helpful with a wheelchair user in our family. He made sure that people knew which public transport to get to ensure they found their way home.

Very informative
