Steve was excellent!! He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from the tour and was given tips about where to go after to co time our own tour.
Steve (the tour guide) did a nice job describing the history of the various locations on the tour. ..
A very interesting tour. Steve was knowledgable and very good at explaining complex history in just enough detail. He gave us time to visit some very moving monuments. Highly recommended.
Carlos was a wonderful guide. So knowledgeable and took time to answer everyone’s questions. It was a very thorough and informative tour. Highly recommend
If you love history you’ll love this tour. Our guide was a Scott (so native English speaker) and very well versed. He was patient with our many questions. Tour was about the right length, tho you are left at a museum that we wish we had had time to see but had an evening event to attend. Plan an extra hour and see the Museum of Terror-he said it’s one of the best. Hope to get it in before we leave.
Very informative! We really had a good time and learned a lot! We visited several spots, meeting at the Brandenberg Gate and ending at the Topography of Terror. Highly recommend!
A terrific experience with our aussie guide, who has lived her for 12 yrard. He brought so much extra to the tour than a regular script.
Highly recommend for families with teenage children.
Strongly recommend to have some currency to leave a tip, these guides bring so much research, knowledge and education to your tour and deserve a token of recognition.
This walking tour was an exceptional experience, striking the perfect balance between a comfortable pace and a wealth of fascinating information. The selection of sites was spot-on, but what truly set this tour apart was the guide’s masterful use of historical photographs. Comparing images of Berlin's original architecture with the post-bombing ruins and modern-day streets provided a powerful, moving perspective that words alone couldn't capture. It was deeply engaging from start to finish, ensuring there was never a dull moment throughout the afternoon. I can’t recommend this tour enough for anyone wanting to see the "layers" of Berlin’s history come to life.
This tour is incredible and an absolute must do for your stay in Berlin. Despite being super cold, our guide Johan delivered an insightful and interesting tour looking at Berlin's darkest moments in history. I cannot recommend this enough.
Excellent tour of Berlins 3rd Reich history. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, and opened our eyes to issues and areas of the war that we did not know, it was very interesting. The tour went over our time which was wonderful as we had so many questions and it did not faze the tour guide.
Wrap up warm and wear comfy shoes ...Great Tour our Guide Roshana was fabulous... so knowledgeable and a fantastic Guide ... Recommended
Scott was very knowledgeable about the Nazi regime and their downfall. It was amazing to learn so many historic things happened in such a small area.
Scott - our guide - is excellent. Travelers are required to listen carefully as there is a lot of information. This is what we wanted and made the experience enjoyable.
What a great guide Scott is. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. We never felt rushed walking between sites. We finished the tour in a more educated state of what happened prior and during the war.
Our family of three really enjoyed Scott’s knowledge, sensitivity and in-sight on such a heavy topic. Thank you Scott. We highly recommend this tour.
It helped me understand what happened with Adolf Hitler and compare it with what is happening now so I can take action against fascism.
Fantastic experience with a knowledgeable guide Jochen was exceptional he made the tour very interesting as he presented the historical rise of the nazi party in an informed manner.
Excellent tour by a guide who was very knowledgeable. It’s the history of Hilter’s control on past Germany that shouldn’t be forgotten.
It is a wonderful tour that really explores many of the questions we had about WW2. I particularly liked that Germany is so focused on "owning" their horrific choices. They don't try to excuse it away or give any passes for the behahaviors which I thought was important. The whole tour is maybe over 4-5 city blocks so the ability to walk well is needed but it's not a stressful walk like many tours. Being small and having one on one attention was very nice. It was very good!
Excellent guide with excellent knowledge and a sense of humour.
You could put yourself in the times and places of WW11.
Be prepared to walk on all surface types. A lot of history and political detail. Tour was longer than expected. Would have been nice to sit and listen.
Very educational and informative. Great guide. Get to learn one part of the very diverse German and Berlin history.
Excellent tour highly recommended. Visited with a teenager and the guide was fantastic and answered all our questions.
"Small group tour" was 11 persons. Guide was a non-native English speaker who spoke in short, awkward sentence fragments.
Very insightful and informative. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Our only concern would be that at times she was difficult to hear her because of noise around us and wearing a microphone would have improved the situation.
Scott from Scotland was a top notch guide. Very informed and interactive. Tailors the tour to the audience.
Highly recommend
Our tour guide, Scott was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Berlin and the 2nd World War. Well spoken and very articulate. Excellent tour guide. Highly recommend this tour.
