Keukehof gardens tour from Amsterdam
Very well organised trip and shuttle bus back to Amsterdam very easy to get and staff were super helpful, at the check in desk and venue. At This is Holland you can get refeshments before the trip and is a taxi rank in case you've walked too much and need an easy return to Amsterdam Centre. Felt very safe as a solo traveller. And Keukenhof was stunning a trip not to be missed.

Captain Joe was good. ...
Captain Joe was good. However, when we returned to the dock, there was no place to get out of the boat. They tied us up to their boats snd that was there and we had to climb out of our boat over into that boat to then get out onto the dock. It was dangerous and very hard for me to do.

Lovely village
It is not a canal cruise. It is a bus ride out of Amsterdam and to the small site of the windmill community. All that is there is very interesting. It was great to see the inside of a working windmill. The clogs demonstration was good, as was the cheese demo. It was very good to be able to taste the different cheeses. It was just very crowded in that shop. The experience gave me a greater awareness of how windmills, canals and the knowledge of harnessing water can be used.

Amsterdam, one of Europe’s most visited destinations, is as well-known for its crowds and queues as for its bicycles and canals. Fortunately, Amsterdam tours offer a fun, easy way to experience the main sights, including the Red-Light District (De Wallen), Anne Frank House, and Van Gogh Museum, without wasting hours in line. Walk, cycle, and hop a canal boat on tours that offer insider insights into Amsterdam. Or branch out and explore the rest of the Netherlands with a guide. Highlights include Zaanse Schans, Edam, Keukenhof Gardens—the world’s largest tulip garden—and, of course, Rotterdam and the Hague.
