Meet at Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam, Oosterdoksstraat 106, a few minutes from Central Station. Exit the front, turn left past the DoubleTree Hotel to the OBA building. We’re at the back of that structure. Arrive 15 minutes early to get set up for your tour.

Your tour begins in central Amsterdam at your chosen time. Meet your guide and small group, and grab your bike and helmet.
Take a quick ferry ride over the IJ river, passing by landmarks including the EYE Film Institute and the Krijtmolen d'Admiraal windmill.
The short tour covers 14 miles (23 kilometers) and uses a standard bike. Pass charming medieval villages such as Zunderdorp and Ransdorp, and spot local landmarks along the way.
If you've chosen the long tour, ride your electric bike through some 23 miles (37 kilometers) of countryside, making a stop at a traditional Dutch cheese farm and a wooden clog workshop.
Your tour ends back at the original departure point.

Wonderful way to spend a few hours exploring the Dutch countryside. Our guide was friendly and informative as we left the bustle of city center and quickly crossed over the river on the ferry into the quiet countryside. We biked through green fields with cows, sheep and lambs surrounded by canals. We stopped by a local farm where the farmer demonstrated the cheese he makes with the milk from his cows and the clogs he carves in the winter. We had the opportunity to purchase the local goods and the bike ride was one of the best experiences of our trip!

It's approximately 16 mile tour through the country stopping by great country villages. It's on a E bike so suitable for anyone that isn't fit. We had such a great afternoon.

We thoroughly enjoyed this bike tour through the Dutch countryside outside of Amsterdam. The e-bikes made the 4 hour tour relatively easy as we biked through small villages and farm fields. Our guide, Christian, was knowledgeable and friendly which made the tour even better. The cheese tasting and clog making demo were at a family run place that made their own cheese and clogs and had a gift shop.

100% should book if you’re active and loves the outdoors. This tour came recommended by a colleague and it was everything she said it was.
I travelled with my husband and 13-year old daughter, and we did it on our last day of our trip. It was a great way to end our time, and a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle.

A great afternoon out of the city where you get to experience the unique landscape of the area. The e-bikes made the journey easy and the stops along the way were varied and interesting. Cheese and clogs stop was both delicious and a bit bonkers. A great tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. Best way to see the countryside and see the Waterlands. E-Bikes made it easy to cover ground. Definitely wear an extra layer with the wind. You can always pack it on the side of the bike too.

Anna guide was very knowledgeable! Long ride to a cheese place. Very friendly clog and cheese maker with lots of samples to try! Just eat before you go as there is no lunch as part of the ride.

Evie did an amazing job leading us on our e-bike tour through the countryside of the Netherlands (farms and fields) little villages and historic sites. The ride is as long as the tour states with some extra time to stop at interesting places. We loved it even as the cold wind almost blew us over at times. Evie was so thoughtful and kind plus encouraging when the cycling got a bit harder plus she was interesting to listen to. Wonderful guide - Ann, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Made us all feel very welcome. Staff at shop were all very nice too. Bikes (electric) were of high quality and looked new. The ride itself was great, saw some beautiful countryside. The cheese/clog experience was good - cheese was really good - shame we couldn’t bring it home with us (UK) or the suitcase would have been full!

Tour guide Gus was knowledgeable and very friendly and personable. E-bikes were in excellent condition. The cheese tasting/tour guide was funny; however, the experience was light on information and lacking for those interested in the actual process. Would have loved a bit more time in the fishing town to walk around.
Note: This is not a tour for serious bike riders looking for a good ride in the country.
