Meet at Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam, Oosterdoksstraat 106, a few minutes from Central Station. Exit the front, turn left past the DoubleTree Hotel to the OBA building. We’re at the back of that structure. Arrive 15 minutes early to get set up for your tour.

Your tour begins in central Amsterdam at your chosen time. Meet your guide and small group, and grab your bike and helmet.
Take a quick ferry ride over the IJ river, passing by landmarks including the EYE Film Institute and the Krijtmolen d'Admiraal windmill.
The short tour covers 14 miles (23 kilometers) and uses a standard bike. Pass charming medieval villages such as Zunderdorp and Ransdorp, and spot local landmarks along the way.
If you've chosen the long tour, ride your electric bike through some 23 miles (37 kilometers) of countryside, making a stop at a traditional Dutch cheese farm and a wooden clog workshop.
Your tour ends back at the original departure point.

- Lunch is not included. Feel free to bring your own picnic or snacks for the route or at the cheese farm.

I had such a wonderful experience on our e-bike tour with Sebastian! The ride through the countryside of Amsterdam was absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to see a different side of the city. The e-bikes made the journey easy and relaxing, even over longer distances.
Sebastian was a fantastic guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure everyone was comfortable. He shared lots of interesting stories and insights about the area, which really brought the experience to life.
One of the highlights was visiting a traditional cheese factory, where we got to see how Dutch cheese is made and, of course, taste some delicious samples.
The whole tour lasted about 4 hours, but the time flew by. It was such a lovely and memorable way to spend the day, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Friendly guide. Nice e-bikes with luggage bags. It was a lovely route where we got to see a nice town, lots of birds, a windmill and stop by a farm. Lots of photo opportunities and a good pace throughout the day.
The meeting location was convenient, not for from central station. We had a group of ten people and it didn't feel to crowded or too much - we all got a chance to ride and the from and middle and back of the group.
The little ducks at the farm were super cute and it was nice to taste some cheese. The farm representative was high energy and entertaining but we would have been interested in more factual information being shared about the clogs. Nice shop to purchase some souvenirs.
Overall, a lovely experience, an easy cycle and we were well looked after by our lovely tour guide.

Beautiful day on the Ebikes through the countryside. Our guide Rinse, made sure we were all safe and with the pack. We made several stops and he was very informative along the way. The clogs and cheese part was very entertaining. Great tour! Highly recommend.

What a wonderful way to spend the day in the fresh and lovely Dutch countryside! We had a great experience with our fabulous guide, Simon, and enjoyed every minute. Windmills, charming villages, scenic pastures filled with wildflowers and winding canals … and cheese! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Five stars!

Great experience! Wonderful guide! Great and entertaining demonstration of cheese making and clog making. Great store to buy cheese, clogs and all things Dutch. Bring water! Use restrooms before leaving as you won’t stop for 2 hours. Prepare for windy weather so don’t underdress! Pack a snack if you need to eat within 4 hours. Prepare to give a tip. Guide works hard and is knowledgeable. Gorgeous towns and farms to see. See special cows and other animals.

Our guide, David, was excellent. Great way to get out of the city and enjoy some of the countryside. Check the weather as we encountered some rain and had wished we had rain jackets.

I really enjoyed the bike ride! The e-bikes were super great and well maintained, the guide was so nice and helpful. I would however like to add that the cheese, clogs experience is very short with around a 10 minute talk and mini demonstration of how they carve the clogs, but little. It was great, but quite short, and I love history and learning/doing workshops, so would love some more detail! They did have some yummy cheese samples. The windmill was beautiful, and stories about the property were so interesting.

Simon was an outstanding guide on our bike tour. He shared fascinating historical insights about the places we visited, making each stop even more meaningful. He also took photos of everyone along the way and provided a QR code so we could easily download them afterward—a thoughtful touch.
The ride itself was very easy, thanks to the Netherlands’ flat terrain, and the electric bikes were a huge help when riding into the wind. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It’s a fun, relaxing way to explore and truly appreciate the beauty and history of the Netherlands.

This was our favorite part of our entire European trip! Simon was so fun to explore with. He had a wealth of knowledge, both culturally and history. The scenic views of the countryside were the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Also, the electric bike option was an ideal upgrade! Because the streets are brick or cobblestone, it was a much easier ride with the electric option and larger tire.

Wonderful easy e-bike ride through country side of Amsterdam. Simeon our guide was great. Only feedback is the company should give home the portable earbuds for us to hear him talk as we are riding along. He had lots of good information to show and share but only talked to us when we occasionally stopped.

So glad we did this! It was so beautiful, and such a fun way to experience the Netherlands outside of Amsterdam. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and open to any questions. We were even running late (whoops) and they set us up and got us to our tour so we didn't miss it. I really appreciated the hospitality and service. Be prepared to really be moving on those bikes, though.

This was an amazing experience and my absolute favorite so far of my trip. I did not want it to end and wish I had booked a private all-day bike tour. We rode through the countryside and through cute smaller towns-great combination of everything. The tour guide, Christian, was fantastic. He stopped to explain different areas of the ride, kept a good pace, and was great at talking with us and leading us. I highly recommend this bike tour and would love to do it again!

The Amsterdam countryside is beautiful!!! Great way to get out of the city and see the fields, animals and windmills of Holland. Our guide knew a lot about the history and current farming practices.

We had the best time! This tour helped us get a better feel of the Dutch countryside - we saw gorgeous fields, cows, and small towns. The host at the cheese/clog store was hilarious and taught us lots. This was everyone’s favorite day of our whole trip!

Rafa our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about Amsterdam and his adoptive country in general. The bike tour was super easy and the e-bikes made even the long stretches easy.
Amsterdam has a fantastic bike friendly system which meant we were out in the countryside within 10mins.
The cheese and clog stop was highly entertaining and a lot of fun due to the presentation skills of the farmer Stephen.

Our guides adjust pace and regroup often, but you are right that a private tour is the better product when you want the route at your own speed. That option is available on all our countryside routes. I am sorry this departure did not match the ride you wanted, and I hope the countryside itself still delivered.

Wonderful ride through the countryside. This was so much nicer than in Amsterdam. There were several stops along the way to keep you from getting too tired. I’m so glad we booked the longer bike trip. I definitely recommend this ride.
