Ben, our guide was very knowledgeable and fun, however, we only visited one coffee shop and just walked around the red light district with very little activity going on during the early evening, I assume that’s because it’s too crowded at night to have a tour guide and the city doesn’t allow a tour guide in the area anyway.
It was pretty terrible weather raining cats and dogs not Ben‘s fault
The tour was awesome! We had Ben and he was wonderful! Super knowledgeable and very entertaining. He made the tour so fun and also gave all kinds of recommendations. I highly recommend this tour and having Ben as your guide.
Also, I want to mention we originally were supposed to go on the 8pm private tour, but were unable due to travel issues. Luckily they were able to get us on this group tour with the late notice and even though we only had Saturday night availability. They also gave us an Anne Frank walking tour. We really appreciated the fact that they accommodated us and both tours were great.
Brian was a knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide. He portrayed the history of the red light district up to the present day with sensitivity and humor when appropriate.

Very informative about Amsterdam history. We saw more than just the red light district, all in the same central area.
It’s not a canal tour. It’s about drugs and sex in Amsterdam. Guess I didn’t read the description very well. We didn’t complete the tour.
A lot of fun facts , good stories, and great people watching. Ari has a great sense of humor and presents a fun side of the city.

Our tour guide Kathi was extremely knowledgeable about Amsterdam ‘s history and the behind the scenes of the sex district and industry overall. It was a pleasure to listen to her as she patiently dealt with the large group. She made the night greater than we anticipated. My husband was not looking forward initially to another tour, since we’ve had bad experiences before. But we absolutely loved this one! Highly recommend.

This is an in depth education on how the red light district came to be the thing it is today. It’s not for the faint of heart though, it’s raw and it’s real, for better or for worse. Our tour guide, Andrea, was quite knowledgeable, very friendly, patient with our questions and thorough with her answers.

Great tour! We went on our first night in Amsterdam and I'm glad we did because Aarre gave us great insight into the customs and culture of the area. He was a funny and knowledgeable guide, he kept the tour feeling like friends hanging out and learning a bit of history. Was the museum worth the extra money?.... I'm not sure. It was still fun though!
The highlight of this tour was our guide Maurice! Such an entertaining character who seemed to know so many locals on the way (including a couple of the red light district workers). He was a very knowledgeable guide and was happy to answer many questions. I was a bit hesitant to take this tour as I am a female senior but never felt uncomfortable at all. Thanks for a memorable experience Maurice.
This is the best and most informative tour I've even been on. Ben was amazing. He'll tell and show you the real Red Light District. This is a must-do in Amsterdam.

I had 2 other Amsterdam guides, and they didn’t even come close to Robin’s tour! Robin was so knowledgeable and shared detailed stories about the history and culture of each place we walked to. You could tell he loves his city and his job. At one unexpected part of the tour, there was a woman who had overdosed. Robin ran to a nearby pub and gave her a Coca Cola and she got her color back. He handled that moment so professionally. The tour was a highlight for me in Amsterdam, don’t book with anyone else! Www.robinsamsterdam.com
