Our guide, Kawika, was AMAZING! He described Van Gogh’s life and family so clearly. We never felt rushed and his temperament was perfect. I would highly recommend this tour with Kawika.

Anna was tremendous! She moved us thru the rooms on a busy Sunday taking us to the front of each picture with ease. When we asked at the end how she knew which pictures to take us to she noted that we had asked questions at the start and quickly knew what we would be interested in seeing. It was exactly what we were looking for In a tour!

It was a good experience. We are not usually museum people, but since we had some time in Amsterdam, it was a good opportunity to learn about Van Gogh. We took the guided tour and enjoyed having the guide bring us around to explain the life of Van Gogh and the development of his art through the years, including artists that seemingly influenced his art. We would definitely have been wandering around and gotten lost without the guide.

Tickets were not sent ahead of time. Had to use WhatsApp to receive the tickets. Was not a guided tour despite what the title said. I was not able to receive a refund for the guide not showing up. Would not do this tour.

Not worth the money

Extremely costly for what it was. It gave you a ticket for entry for museum and a verbal tour to download. There was only a few spots you got information. The headsets the museum gave out were better. Tickets for entry to the museum are $25,00! I paid about $80., Not happy.

Hi Judy, thanks for your feedback. The option you selected clearly states it only includes a ticket and downloadable interactive audio guide. Should you have wanted a live guided tour you should have selected the second option. We open up the audio guide option in very busy times with the hope of allowing more people to still get the chance to visit the museum when all standard tickets are sold-out well in advance. It is just a question of scarcity. Thanks a lot for your feedback on the guide and your positive rating for our work, this is much appreciated. All the best!

The meeting place was changed from a covered area which was sheltered from rain and wind to an exposed Area with the guide coming later than scheduled.Although we did get a notice while waiting.. Vita was knowledgeable although not very people friendly. it was an english speaking tour but .It was difficult for her to answer some of the questions we asked..

Goonanni was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the museum. I did experience a bit of difficulty fully hearing him all the time. Noise from other patrons, and earphones didn't stay in.my ears too well

Great experience to see such a vast collection of work from Van Gogh in one place, it truly gave a sense of his personal and professional journey as an artist and person. Our guide, Anna did a good job to explain and provide as much information as needed. I would have given the activity 5/5 except the fact they had to change our timing due to overbooking a day before the tour.

This tour of the Museum of Van Gogh and his life gave an opportunity to see works unique to this museum. It was crowded, but not packed to the gills, yet stopping to really study a piece was problematic. Many tour groups vied for a spot. The young couple who shared the tour with me were delightful and as curious as I about details of the man and his work. So that was an high point for me. Our tour guide, who was informed, seemed set on giving specific information at a certain time and didn’t always provide an answer that met the question. However, she also gave much information that I wasn't aware of, so that was great. It was informative, however as a painter, I hoped to have discussion that went a bit deeper into his work and his life, ie “Why do you consider this particular painting his ultimate masterpiece?” I was not certain her facts about his relationship with his brother and sister in law were spot on, based on my own research, but her thoughts about VanGogh’s death gave food for thought. Seeing his last works at the end was fabulous. I was free to roam afterwards to further study his works on my own.
