Countryside Bike Fun!

Our countryside bike tour, led by our entertaining and considerate guide Ian, was the perfect end to our stay in Amsterdam. Our favorite part was the ride back from the farm through the picturesque fields and charming towns. The tranquility of the countryside was a welcome pause from the bustle of Amsterdam. Wear comfortable clothes as this tour involves more than 15 miles of relaxed riding over mostly level terrain.

Heavenly place

A beautiful, surreal place. So much to see. Many places to sit, eat, rest, purchase souvenirs. Bathrooms are clean. I felt 3 hours would have been enough time but better too much time than not enough. If I were to go back, I would perhaps go in April, though. More flowers would be in bloom, and the weather might be more agreeable!

It is a fun and exciting bicycle ride around the city led by your friendly tour guide. Be careful because the other cyclists go fast and don’t stop easily. Even motorizer bikes are allowed in the bike lanes. Cars will be literally inches from you at times. Follow all of your tour guides directions. You will get to see alot of the main attractions of the city. The tour guide will have much interesting information about the city, so pay attention. The tour goes for about 90 minutes. Highly recommended, but make sure you have confidence in your bike riding abilities.

Captain Dave was a great pilot and guide. Really great attitude, friendly, talkative, good knowledge of Amsterdam main places and other lesser known yet interesting things too. Had food and beverages for the guests. Great vibe in general. Really puts you at ease. Highly recommend to go on his boat tour. I'll definitely come back.

Great Trip

Myself and my fiance booked this tour while on a break to Amsterdam. There were Spanish and English speaking people on the tour bus, so the commentary was in both languages. Sylvia was our guide on the bus and took the Spanish walking tour in Bruges. She was very friendly and helpful in our dealings with her. When we reached Bruges, our English speaking tour guide was Mike and he was brilliant; he took us to the main sights and explained everything in a way that made it all so interesting. He also gave hints and tips about local food and drink, including taking us to a local chocolate shop. The chocolate I bought there is the best I’ve tasted! After the tour we had a couple of hours to wander ourselves before making our way back to the bus. All in all, a great tour!

Anne Frank Walking Tour

Very interesting walking tour with lots of stops along the way telling you about Amsterdam and Anne Frank’s life. Our tour guide Michael was great. He read excerpts from Anne’s diary to really help you understand what she experienced during the occupation of the Netherlands. The VR experience was very interesting too, being able to see in the rooms of the house the Frank family hid in during the war.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with our guide, Inbal. She made the history walk interactive and informative. It was a lesson in the Jewish history that we were mostly unaware of. We wanted to dedicate part of our stay in Amsterdam to honor those from the past that perished as well as getting a more in depth understanding of their immigration story. We also appreciated the various statues and memorials honoring those that challenge the norm. Our Anne Frank “house” tickets were delivered the morning of the walk and we gained access without issue.

It’s a must!

Our tour started at 9 AM and ended at 5 PM. It was excellent. David was our driver. I love the fact that it was a small tour of 22 people. We did the tour of the tulips first then we went north to the windmills, the clogs in the cheese, which was a smart move. By going early at 10 AM when we arrived it wasn’t as crowded. Had we had gone later in the afternoon. Highly recommend this tour it’s a must. Three hours was plenty of time to see the entire garden. It’s huge. Tulips are phenomenal worth every penny. Our guide was excellence informative, friendly knowledgeable. Everything ran smoothly. We had a great group.

A winning combination … gardens + windmills!

Excellent tour … Keukenhof Gardens still in full bloom and absolutely beautiful and the leisurely canal cruise viewing the windmills and Dutch countryside made for a very enjoyable day. Check-in was simple and well-organized and everything ran exactly on time. Our bus was clean and comfortable and our first stop was for the canal cruise. The boat captain was very friendly and full of information about the windmills and the history of the land. After the one hour cruise, the bus continued onto the gardens where we had as much time as we wanted to wander the garden paths and enjoy the flowers. Return buses, which ran frequently, were very easy to find for the trip from the gardens back to Amsterdam.

Very enjoyable trip

This trip is the best way to see the tulips. The Tulip Experience enables you to see and walk in tulip fields and you don't see this if you just visit Keukenhof. Keukenhof was amazing but extremely busy. We were there for about 3 hours which we found long enough. Would definitely recommend this split trip.

Can’t Miss Experience

It was just incredible. We learned so much Dutch WWII history and saw the most beautiful views of tulip fields, windmills, canals, and the countryside in general was truly a sight to see. We absolutely loved it and it was truly life changing. Would absolutely do this again, and already informed other family members that we need to come back with them and stay in Giethoorn.
