The biking was great. Our guide, Ian, was great and very knowledgeable. The farm...well, it was very run down and the animals seemed to be very dirty. The cheese part of the tour was not impressive - there were 2 small wheels of cheese for us all to take a taste of.

Great experience and tour of the countryside and a local farm. Do this early in your trip to understand and appreciate the use of bicycles in Amsterdam. You’ll have newfound respect for the cyclists when you are walking on the remainder of your trip.

My family and I enjoyed our bike tour today with Skip. We biked thru Amsterdam and into the countryside. The farm we visited has so many baby cows and sheep we were able to pet. We received drinks and were able to sample two types of cheeses the farm produces. On our scenic ride back we hoped on the cross river ferry before returning back to the office. I highly recommend this tour on a visit to Amsterdam.

Our countryside bike tour, led by our entertaining and considerate guide Ian, was the perfect end to our stay in Amsterdam. Our favorite part was the ride back from the farm through the picturesque fields and charming towns. The tranquility of the countryside was a welcome pause from the bustle of Amsterdam. Wear comfortable clothes as this tour involves more than 15 miles of relaxed riding over mostly level terrain.

We spent a leisurely 3 hours riding through more rural areas just outside of Amsterdam. The bike ride started in the city but quickly moved out to less busy and crowded areas. We stopped several times for discussion of the are; our guide Skip was very knowledgeable. The stop at the farm was interesting, and the cheese sampling was tasty. From there it was a short ride back to our beginning point, including a ferry ride. This was fun and I would highly recommend it.

Great experience, great communication, lovely tour but just be mindful of the roads when out on the bikes , it gets very busy , also if your like me and don’t have strong legs all the peddling does get a bit painful 🙈 so maybe upgrade to e bike , but i managed it after multiple mini stops to rest my weak legs haha . Great tour guide and group

We had a great time on our bike tour, it is such an amazing way to see the city and the country side! Our guide Skip was fantastic - super knowledgeable and kind. The farm was really lovely, saw baby cows, lambs and ponies and ate delicious cheese with a beautiful scenery. The bike ride is beautiful - it is overwhelming in the city, but calm once you’re out! Tisse gave a wonderful tour. The windmill was very cool and the countryside is absolutely stunning. The stop by the farm for snacks and sodas was a nice way to end the day. The e-bike was very helpful and were highly active young(ish) people!

We had a great time on this bike tour. I think it was the highlight for my friend this trip. Where we are from, biking culture is not as pronounced. We don’t have all these nicely paved bike trails. So it was a treat to be riding so comfortably and seeing Amsterdam this way. We did choose the country side tour as we felt would be less intimidating compared to riding in the core of Amsterdam. Again the trails were nicely paved and quite flat, but having said that, please know your limitations. Our group of 15, were mostly ok, there were some that did struggle even using e-bikes. For our group, we had one guide, Skip, who had lots of patience in waiting for our group of 15 to safely pass intersections and for the slower bikers to catch up the group. We had a bit of a history session as well.
Overall I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who would like to see another side of Amsterdam. However if you would like to see more windmills and other stereotypical Amsterdam sights. Another tour would be better. We did see the oldest I think windmill.

Really enjoyed our guide Ron who took care of us. It was unfortunate that the weather made the ride a bit more challenging but what a lovely way to see more of the surrounding area. One person in our group had not read how long the distance for the tour was - FYI it's 22 km - which we enjoyed but I would suggest you need to be moderately fit. The farm tour was a bit disappointing but the country side even in the rain beautiful and very very cute villages
Tje tour company provided ponchos which we appreciated.

Santiago was our fabulous English-speaking tour guide. He made the ride fun & interesting. Having traveled to Amsterdam by train, on this 3+ hrs bike ride, we got to see outskirts of Amsterdam that we would have otherwise never seen. We stopped in a little village at a farm to sample their cheese & drinks. Great tour!

The countryside was scenic and the bikes worked fine, but overall this tour was disappointing. Having only one guide at the very front for a group of eight felt unsafe, especially when navigating Amsterdam’s busy and complex bike lanes. Crossing major intersections without guidance was stressful and at times felt genuinely dangerous—I was concerned someone in the group might get hit by a car or collide with another cyclist or pedestrian. The guide often stopped or slowed abruptly without warning, leaving the group scrambling to keep up. A second guide at the back is necessary for safety and better organization, particularly since not everyone in the group was a strong rider. Also, heads up, this tour says it’s 3 hours in total. About 2.5 hours of that is on the bike with about a 30 minute break at the farm, so be prepared!
The farm visit itself was very underwhelming. It’s a beautiful area with tons of greenery, but there was no introduction, no explanation of the farm itself, and no interaction with anyone who worked there—we were simply told to look around on our own. The cheese tasting consisted of just two small samples, one of which was barely edible, which felt very under-delivered for a “bike and cheese” tour.
In short, while the scenery was enjoyable, the lack of structure, safety oversight, and meaningful cultural experience made this tour fall far short of expectations.

Nice to get into the country. Beautiful. One thing to be aware of is that there is only one guide in the front. Unfortunately one of our people got her shoelace caught in the bike and was left behind for a time. The bikes don't have mirrors, so it's difficult to keep track on who (or what) is coming behind you. If you rent an electric bike (not necessary) make sure your guide turns the battery back on if you have a longer stop.
The group will be broken up at times in the city due to traffic. The lights are VERY short.)
Once again, a beautiful tour, but the oversight could have been better.
