Bruges was beautiful with its old world charm. So much to see that we still didn't get to see and do all we wanted to. Blanca our bus tour guide and Gosia our Bruge city guide were super informative and awesome. Gosia was especially wonderful and was so enthusiastic and fun and very knowledgeable. She gave some amazing recommendations. Highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing experience! Bruges is simply stunning! We had a fantastic guide for the city of Bruges that offered an informational, funny and engaging narrative highlighting the uniqueness of Bruges. Highly recommend this tour!
Susan_A, Apr 2026
It took 4 hours each way on the bus. We arrived in Bruge at 1 and left at 5:15PM.
Do yourself a favor and skip it.
No maps provided to orient yourself and Brugge is a big place.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the travel time is considerable, as Bruges is several hours from Amsterdam. Our tour is designed for travelers who prefer a comfortable and fully organized experience without worrying about transportation, tickets, or schedules. The excursion includes approximately one hour of guided walking tour with historical introduction and orientation, followed by free time to explore the city and enjoy different activities at your own pace. Our guides are always available if assistance is needed. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

This was a wonderful experience! The bus was comfortable and our guide Claudia was organized and informative. Then our walking guide in Bruges was also very knowledgeable and also entertaining. He also did a really nice job of keeping track of everyone in the group and waiting to talk until everyone could hear him. It is a full day trip from Amsterdam, so be prepared for the time. But we felt it was worth it.

Mike is very knowledgeable about the history of Bruges and the places in the area. Bruges is so beautiful that we would definitely come again for a two-days trip. We prefer to spend time taking a boat tour or horse carriage and enjoying a nice meal. We also need more time to take pictures.

The Day Trip to Bruges was very good. While the bus ride might seem longer than a usual day excursion, what waits at the end is worth the ride.
Our Bus guide, “Claudia” was fun, knowledgeable and kept information free flowing.
Our, on the ground guide, “Alistair”, was equally as engaging as Claudia. Alistair added a bit of the flair which was entertaining.
After about 30 minutes, we left the tour and went out in search of the Church of Our Lady and Michelangelo’s Madonna (Michelangelo’s only sculpture to leave Italy in his lifetime).
The bus ride was worth seeing the sculpture and spending time sitting in its presence.
After the church, we stopped for lunch and a big bowl of mussels and a pint of Belgian beer…yum
And, of course there’s the Belgian chocolate. We went past the the Church of Our Lady, to a shop off the beaten path…be brave, go out and explore.

Pascal was an exceptional guide in Bruges.
An unforgettable experience.
The bus ride from Amsterdam was long but worth it.
Kelly_L, Apr 2026
The bus ride was just a ride. It was a mixed group of English and Spanish speakers. The guide on the bus was primarily a Spanish speaker. The microphone didn’t work so there was ZERO narrative. However, the English guide Pascal in Bruges was EXCELLENT!
Yvonne_B, Apr 2026
Be prepared for a full day. The English tour guide in Bruges was excellent. She provided historical facts as well as interesting antidotes about Bruges and its history.
Irene_P, Apr 2026
The tour should be advertised as bilingual. It was exhausting listening to both English and Spanish commentary on the bus. The meeting point was hectic as there were many buses lined up and several going to Bruges. The operator should specify to look for someone, for example, with a green umbrella. For a trip that long, I would suggest making a pit stop half way through. Other than that, we are glad we visited the town. It was absolutely beautiful and full of fascinating history.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
We are sorry to hear that your experience on the bus felt exhausting due to the bilingual format. As a general rule, our Bruges tours are usually operated in separate English and Spanish departures. However, when there are not enough passengers to fill each bus, both languages are combined in the same service. In all cases, we always provide a local guide who conducts the walking tour in English. We also appreciate your comments regarding the meeting point and logistics, as well as your suggestion for an additional stop during the journey. We will certainly take all of this into consideration to continue improving the experience for our future customers. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed Bruges itself, as it is indeed a beautiful city full of history. Thank you again for your feedback.

Its a long bus trip. for us it was about 3.5 hours listening to a guide who spoke mainly Spanish (we booked an English speaking tour). Pascal was the saving grace for us, he was a brilliant guide. Bruges is well worth a visit though I would suggest instead of a day tour, spend a couple of nights there

This tour could not have been better, both because of the subject of the tour (Bruges, Belgium) and because of the efforts of the tour guides. Bruges is a preserved medieval community, and it’s easy to imagine walking (or boating) around it 8-900 years ago. Blanca, our chaperone on the bus, was utterly charming and enthusiastic about going to Bruges, and effectively communicated her excitement to us. Our walking tour guide, Gosia, (sp?), conveyed both her excitement and her knowledge of Bruges’ fascinating history. The plan for the tour left an appropriate amount of free time for ambling about the city, before we had to return to Amsterdam. This tour just could not have been better.

Bruges is a beautiful city that is definitely worth visiting. I recommend this trip and the tour company did a great job.

Pascal was a fantastic tour guide- knowledgeable, energetic and fun. We learned so much and had a very enjoyable time.

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide Claudia was the best and so kind. We really enjoyed our time on this tour and made friends. I highly recommend this tour!

Brilliant destination arranged wonderfully by the tour company. Thanks Claudia, Mike and the great bus driver. Had an enjoyable day.

My Family and I had a great time but the tour said 12 hours so we were expecting to leave Bruges at 6:00pm but were disappointed to hear that we would be returning to Amsterdam at 5:00pm. An hour makes a huge difference especially when you have to walk in cobblestone but nonetheless Silvia & Jacko were Great!

Myself and my fiance booked this tour while on a break to Amsterdam. There were Spanish and English speaking people on the tour bus, so the commentary was in both languages. Sylvia was our guide on the bus and took the Spanish walking tour in Bruges. She was very friendly and helpful in our dealings with her. When we reached Bruges, our English speaking tour guide was Mike and he was brilliant; he took us to the main sights and explained everything in a way that made it all so interesting. He also gave hints and tips about local food and drink, including taking us to a local chocolate shop. The chocolate I bought there is the best I’ve tasted! After the tour we had a couple of hours to wander ourselves before making our way back to the bus. All in all, a great tour!

That was awesome and the best tour of my life. Its heaven on earth. Really enjoyed a lot. Wishing we have time to visit again with the same tour guid.
Suttee_H, Dec 2025
Enjoyed this bilingual Spanish & English day tour from Amsterdam! Our wonderful tour manager, Ana Maria, kept everything smooth and festive. The bus ride is bilingual, but you will get the guide in Bruges in your chosen language. Our English guide, Mike, showed the highlights, avoided crowds, and even offered free chocolate tastings. Great value!
Practical notes: the bus has a toilet for the journey there, and there’s a stop halfway on the return. In Bruges, toilets cost 1 euro, so bring some change.

Very informative tour guide (Anna Marie) on the bus trip to Bruges, she has a lot of knowledge about Amsterdam, very enjoyable. After a 3 hour drive (went by quickly) we met up with our tour guide Alistair for the tour of Bruges. We wandered through this amazing medieval city and Alistair entertained us with the incredible history of Bruges. Highly recommend this tour such knowledgeable tour guides and the driver of bus was excellent too!
Louis_S, Dec 2025
The drive from Amsterdam was informative. Silvia did a great drive. I do not think this is suitable for young kids in a stroller due to the cobble stone streets and the speed of the walk.
Kathleen_H, Nov 2025
The trip from Amsterdam was a bit long but well worth the wait. My tour guide Alistair was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He explained the history of Bruges while we wandered around, stopping at all the “must sees”(architecture, artwork, shops, restaurants, etc). It was a great introduction to this beautiful medieval city. Can’t wait to go back!
Diane_W, Nov 2025
Mike was our tour guide in Bruges and we throughly enjoyed our tour. He was very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves his job. He guided us to the best chocolate shops. ❤️

My wife and I recently embarked on the Bruges Day Tour from Amsterdam, and it was an enchanting highlight of our Dutch adventure!
The day started early with a comfortable coach ride – about three hours each way, but the scenic views of the countryside made the time fly by. Everything was impeccably organized, from the punctual departure to the small group size that kept things intimate and enjoyable.
Our tour guide in , Mike, and his partner, were true gems! Their enthusiasm was contagious as they shared captivating stories about Belgium’s history, Bruges’ medieval charm, and fun facts about the local culture.
With humor and intelligence, they pointed out landmarks along the way and led a fantastic walking tour through the cobblestone streets, fairy-tale canals, and stunning architecture.
During our free time, we indulged in delicious Belgian chocolates, waffles, and a leisurely stroll – all thanks to Ian’s spot-on recommendations.
Bruges itself felt like stepping into a postcard: the historic buildings, serene waterways, and vibrant market squares were breathtaking.
If you’re in Amsterdam and craving a taste of medieval magic with your partner, this tour is an absolute must!

Great day trip, really pleasant and knowledgeable guide. Ample time to walk around and shop it eat after tour. Recommended to eat before or bring a snack because you don't eat until after the tour which is late afternoon. Great information on the city.
A_F, Oct 2025
The trip started at 9 am and took 3.5 hours to get to Bruges and after that a speedy hour long tour with free time after that. It was almost 2 pm before we had free time and we were hungry and tired. The walking tour guide MIKE kept making references to tipping and shamelessly asked for tips at the end. Tips should be earned by good service and not by speeding through the tour and making non stop references to tips. He was also rude to some tour participants. The tour was also supposed to be in English, however the bus tour guide kept repeating everything in Spanish and English with the Spanish portion being longer since it was probably his comfort language. We reached back to Amsterdam really late with traffic and well past 9:30 pm. Overall a bad experience.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience on this occasion. The guide you mention works for one of our local partner companies, who we collaborate with, and he generally has very good references and positive feedback from other groups. However, we truly regret that your experience did not meet expectations in terms of service, communication, and overall comfort during the tour. We sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your comments are very important to us and will be taken into account to continue improving our tours in the future. Thank you again for your feedback.

It is a fun and fairIy easy 1-day trip. Our guides were very friendly and accommodating. Our village guide was very entertaining and informative. We would do it again.
PENNY_B, Oct 2025
Our guide Mike gave us a wonderful overview of lovely Bruges. Great recommendations for shops and vendors to visit. Did not give 5 stars due to the guide on the bus. I booked an English speaking tour and the majority was in Spanish. Was not happy about this. Bus driver was excellent, drove us safely in pouring rain.
SaiKiran_K, Oct 2025
Well organized and guided.
Vibes and ambience in Bruges is very good.
A must do experience from Amsterdam.
