Meeting Point: Via dei Fori Imperiali, 25, 00186 Rome (RM) Please meet in front of the Tourist Information Point at Fori Imperiali. Our coordinators will be identifiable by their “Italy with family” t-shirts. The tour reservations have strict timing. Please make sure to be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before your booked time slot. Latecomers won't be waited for and no refunds will be granted.
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Very disappointing

One of our group struggled with heights and tour guide was quite rude about it. During the tour the guide walked off a number of times and made it difficult to keep up / find her. The guide was very keen to leave as soon as possible and didn’t wait to guide us out. We have done many tours this week but this one has been disappointing.

Large group- access to first and second levels

The group had 20 people- which I swore the tour was listed as “semi-private” with max of 12. Also we showed up 30 minutes early to check in- thankfully! Since when we arrived they told us we “made it just in time since they were starting early”. But the tour itself was great - just the right length for our teenagers.

Disappointed.. not worth the money.

This was not a semi private tour.. close to 30 people or so. The tour lasted less than an hour. This was not at all as advertised and not worth the money. Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum were to be included in the price… they told us at the end of touring the Colluseum ..times of when we could do the tours of Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum the next day… not ideal and chose to forego this as we already had plans… for the next day. No tickets were given just times. Entire family was disappointed in the tour for the money spent. Asked for a refund was denied … didn’t even provide a partial refund. The tour description given and what was provided was not accurate. The cost of the tour was not in balance with the tour provided. Incredibly disappointed, was supposed to be a memorable experience …was but for the wrong reasons.

Scammed and no help

This is a complete scam, showed up at 3pm and was denied the tour. Told me to come back at 5.. denied again. The tours are 40+ people, not 12. Viator is letting companies blatantly lie and steal your money with no support.

Not a semi private or small group

Booked semi private for more personalized experience. Description read 12 people or less and we were over 40 people . Requested a refund and they denied it. Reason of denying request was “what did you expect”

Short tour with 30+ people

They advertise this as a semi private tour of 12 people and instead they took 32 of us. Couldn’t even see the guide some of the time and the tour lasted less than 60min. Sure we learned a few things while getting through the security lines and walking up the steps. Compared to the Vatican semi private tour that we booked with the Roman Tour Guy (which was actually small as promised and super educational), this Colosseum one was a waste. Wouldn’t go through this company again.

We had a great experience with this company. The group size was not too large and the duration of the tour was perfect. It was a smokin hot day so any longer would have been tough. Our tour guide did a great job navigating the chaos with a small. She was extremely well informed, kind, and professional. Meeting location was easy if you follow directions. Would recommend.
