Where to begin....First, the headset Equipment provided did not work for most of the trip. This was suppose to be a English guided tour but the guide had a heavy italian accent. Everyone in our group struggled to hear or understand what was being said the entire tour. We started with 24 people and were down to 11 by the end as most people give up and left the tour early. I would definitely not reccomend city tours to anyone as this was basically a high priced rip off.

The tour itself was well organised and the guide was really knowledgeable. Very interesting 'myth busting' information provided and he had a passion for the place. I felt that there was more to tell however, especially for Palatine Hill and the Forum. It was billed as being a 3 hour tour - however it was just under 2.5 hours in reality before the guide left us - there was a couple who were constantly late back and even lost their ticket at one point - the guide looked after them well and ensured they weren't left behind - as a consequence the rest of us likely missed out on learning and seeing more because we had to wait too - and then as i said even taking all this into account we still lost an additional 1/6 of the planned tour time. It wasn't a cheap tour - so i needed up feeling quite aggrieved on balance.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. She spoke loud and clear and she did well with keeping the group together in the big crowds. She even led us to a couple of spot to get good pictures. Our tour time was from 11:00a to 1:30p and my advice is that if your going in the summer months, book your tour early because it’s hot. Our tour started off with Palatine Hill, Roman Forum and ended at the Colosseum.

Lucia was an excellent guide and had a wealth of information to share. The tour was planned and paced perfectly. We didn't feel rushed and had plenty of time to take pictures. It is the perfect way to see the Roman Forum and Colosseum. We didn't have enough time to climb the Palatine Hill, but given the hot weather it was actually a good idea to skip climbing the palatine hill.

Adrian was an amazing guide!! He was the best among the 4 tours that we did.
He was very informative and you can feel he loved his job. He kept us very interested and the overall pacing was really good. Eventhough we booked this tour last minute (1st tour was cancelled a day before), it was very worth it!! We even think it was a blessing in disguise to get this tour instead. We did the Forum and Palatine Hill first so we still had enough time to roam around the Colosseum on our own after the tour.
This tour is just highly recommended!!

Our tour guide Gianluca was absolutely amazing! He made for a fabulous tour of all the colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill. His patience with our group up stair’s down stairs was much appreciated- fabulous tour he provided- highly recommend this tour!

We got a late start as we waited 20 minutes on 2 people who said they can’t speak English on our English speaking tour. The tour guide rushed through so much, maybe trying to catch up on lost time. She was hard to follow because her flag was not high for many people to see. We ended up losing the two people who couldn’t speak English, so another 15 minutes wasted. She had to finish up the tour early because she had to go back to start another tour.
The sites were amazing, but the tour was quite rushed.

Our guide was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Our 11 am your in July was very hot but he consistently found places for us to pause in the shade while he explained the significance of the buildings we were near.

Lucia did a great job guiding us thru Palatine Hill, the Forum and the Coloseum. She gave a good background history with plenty of pictures to give it a better perspective of what it looked like back in the times. I would definitely recommend this tour. It was a nice small tour which made it more personable.

Seeing The Colosseum in person was a dream come true and it lived up to the hype! Learning about the history behind the storied building and all the events that went on inside it.
Due to an accident with another guide, we had to join another tour that was in process for the forum and Palatine Hill portion. This was actually a blessing in disguise as our new tour guide Ardu was more entertaining which helped us stay engaged throughout the remainder of the tour. There’s so much history for this city and these items in particular, so I’m sure getting all the information into a 2.5-3 hour tour is difficult so we appreciated Ardu’s enthusiastic nature!

Great value with he entrances included. Recommend doing these both with a guide so you can really understand the history and what you are really looking at.

Abbiamo fatto un interessantissimo tour accompagnati dalla bravissima guida Roberta, che ha reso il percorso coinvolgente ed avvincente, per la grande passione e professionalità con cui illustrava luoghi ed eventi con tanti piacevolissimi aneddoti.
