This is probably THE best hot spring in the world!!! Certainly the most beautiful blue water! The resort is highly organized and efficient-they thought of everything.
Everyone was extremely kind and helpful!

Booking through this app was more expensive than others paid for entrance. They also had a hard time finding my booking and required getting the manager to allow me in.

One of the most Amazing experiences ever, even while it snowed over us! Do not miss the Blue Lagoon!

It can be very busy, we chose the basic package but you can buy extras. Once in great atmosphere, very different to our earlier visit to the Secret Lagoon. I think it is down to personal preference, I enjoyed both but preferred the Secret Lagoon.

Awesome experience and information provided detailing the history of the geo-thermal lagoon. Had a great time
Lauren_T, Dec 2025
The landscaping around the lagoon is rugged and has a lot of history to read up on. My husband was interested in the volcanic rock from the start

Absolutely brilliant, well worth the money, will definitely do this again when we come back to Iceland. Only little bit of negative feedback - the changing rooms needs more cubicles and more toilets. Me and my 4 Yr old were waiting for ages for both. Other than that, fantastic!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish! So welcoming and kind and just a beautiful place! Would highly recommend!

Amazing! We went in late November on a very WINDY COLD day. It made the water feel that much better! Words can’t describe how cool the spa is. From mud masks to steam rooms this is a must do in Iceland. PS if you come during the winter months you may want to bring your own towel and hat. The spa is very eco friendly which is great but towels are limited if you do not pay extra for the robe.

We went straight to the lagoon from the airport, best decision and amazing experience! Loved every minute and highly recommend!

Not bad. Take sun glasses if it’s very sunny . Large and lots of space, sauna is nice. But I prefer the sky lagoon.

My first time experiencing the blue lagoon was amazing from the start. I was overwhelmed but got used to it and how everything worked out staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a wonderful time I wished I stayed longer than two hours. I would book this event all over again! Worth it!

This was the perfect way to relax for after a long day of traveling! It was incredibly refreshing and got us ready for a full day of exploring! We will absolutely plan another visit!

Great end to our first day in Icland. The mud mask and drink were a lovely touch and the water was incredible. Amazing exprience!

Go early before the tourist rush. Start immediately to your left and work around the pool. The shallow area is for lying down. Nobody got that. They have head rests in some places to relax as you wear your mask. If you want to drink and socialize go to a bar. Take the full time to get the most from the waters. The wrist band locks and opens your locker. Don’t walk away unless it is a steady light. Don’t forget flip flops. The pool is filled with sea water and silicate. it is heated from below the surface and pumped to certain areas. This is why you will have some areas hotter than others. I believe it’s designed that way.

steam room, dry sauna and really cold showers if you like a cold plunge. The green smoothie is really really good better than the fiesta drink. We stayed 2 hours. Like a huge hot tub. Enjoyed it
cardelle_s, Sep 2025
It was a lot of money for the experience. Drinks grossly overpriced. The upsell of my ticket for the “free mask” that everyone got regardless was disappointing
Ashley_J, Sep 2025
This was easily one of my favorite things we did in Iceland. The lagoon was nice and hot, large and spacious, not overcrowded. Steam and Sauna Rooms were as well. Check in and check out went smoothly. Would highly recommend. We all felt so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards.

Great way to spend the day. Mud mask was awesome. Swim up bar also great. It was raining the day we went but that dod not stop anyone. Lagoon was still busy
Amirun_R, Aug 2025
It was amazing. Staff around the lagoon were lovely to chat with. I like there was a selection of spar areas around the lagoon where you could relax in. It was a really nice atmosphere. Such a natural experience.

Thank goodness for the convenience of ViaTour to book tickets and enjoy a fabulous visit to this magical place. The Blue Lagoon is quite large, and my husband and I had fun circling the warm water pool, stopping in steam bath, sauna and waterfall along the way. The included drink was terrific! We had our choice of any drink on the menu. Don’t miss this wonderful experience.

Nice experience coming from airport after an overnight flight. Very relaxing. Due to my bad knees, I was offered either a noodle or tube…that was nice!
Portia_J, Aug 2025
Book your transportation ahead of time. Not an easy place to go from Reykjavik. Line was not manage well
Jane_D, Aug 2025
Explore around the area to see volcanoes since they are so close.
The bar line is very long since there’s only 1.
Kathleen_B, Aug 2025
It's cold and then you go in the water and it's so warm and invigorating. You can put on a mask too. Loved it!
Sophia_L, Jul 2025
It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The check in process was smooth. My 15 year old teenager appreciated the private shower stalls. It was not overly crowded so that was definitely a plus!
Eric_B, Jul 2025
It was very relaxing. The water seemed to take all of our aches and pains away while in it. Such an amazing experience.
Megan_L, Jun 2025
You better go quick, the lava fields come right up to this location… 🌋✨… incredible views, the warmest water, felt like spa day, didn’t want to get out 🧖♀️🥂✨
john_l, Jun 2025
Blue Lagoon offers the best value for family with small kids (13 and below free admission). Although not as grand and luxurious as Sky Lagoon, the admission includes basic mud mask and a free drink. Additionally, there is no restriction to use their sauna and steam room while Sky Lagoon only allow one visit per the 7-ritual.
Overall I would recommend Blue Lagoon to family who wants to save some money while enjoying the nature hot spring in Iceland
Jessica_K, Jun 2025
It was really lovely. Amazing how warm you feel in the water even in the cold air.
Helpful to bring flip flops and a plastic bag for your wet suit.
