Beautiful architecture all over downtown Providence. Some excellent murals— wish we’d seen more. Interesting history.

Guide could care less that the address was wrong on the app for the meeting place. He showed no
Passion for the city.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Hi Carla-
Thanks so much for your feedback on your experience. I'm sorry that the address was wrong, but we don't have an app- could you possibly email me where you saw the incorrect information? My email is bradly@pvdtourco.com.
Additionally, regarding the guide- I'm sorry they didn't meet your expectations. It seems they were having an off-day that day because they more often than not get excellent reviews. If you have any additional feedback you'd like to provide, please send me a note at the email I provided above.
Thanks for giving us a chance- I hope we will be given another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future.

This is a tour for people who would like to know the whole history of Providence, not for people who would like to know the city.
LisaAnn_C, Aug 2023
The guide was very passionate about his city and was knowledgeable. It was a fun experience and found some details about he history very interesting

Roger Williams is one of my heroes and I loved visiting the historical site. My wife loved the modern history and the adventures of the long serving mayor.
Tracy_T, Jun 2023
We were greeted at the Graduate lobby and then the tour began We stopped in the middle of the sidewalk 5 minutes into the trip b/c a large discovered they were on the wrong tour and our tour guide tried to help them get a refund- left the remainder of the small group waiting. The sites were dismal, the guide lacked luster and excitement- stories were boring and went on for way too long. Really was not what I am used to when booking similar tours.

James or Jimbo gave an excellent Walking Tour! Very interesting & we enjoyed the story behind the names & places.
MaryAnn_H, Sep 2022
Jimbo was a great guide- knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He kept the entire tour interesting. We were a large group with many questions and he handled them all with aplumb and wasn’t uncomfortable saying that he didn’t know the answer either.
Tammie_G, Jun 2022
Jeremy, our tour guide was wonderful! I always say the guide is really what makes a tour. He gave us well told stories of Providence history and of the major figures who impacted the city. The tour is told in a well organized time line so it’s easy to follow and helps you see the city evolve into what it is today.
Francis_B, May 2022
That was an amazing guided tour and I learned so much about the city of Providence. He showed us the most essential places to visit!

I learned alot about RI, we seen a lot of interesting places. The weather was good. The guide was inclusive, I didn't feel lifted out, because I was solo.
Beverly_T, Oct 2021
We loved this walking tour with Jimbo. Very knowledgeable and personable young man. Paced the walk nicely. Answered our questions. Was funny and patient with us. Tour very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Noy_E, Sep 2021
Finding the start was an issue since the tourist office was closed and the guide was a last minute replacement. It was a small group and everyone in the party showed up. Due to the late start, the tour finished later than normal and I ended up being late for another tour. The guide was very good and the information was relevant and useful in understanding the history and culture of this big small city. Would need more specific information about where the start was since I was confused about where the start was.
Olin_t, Sep 2019
This was a very informative and entertaining tour. If you are a visitor or even a resident, I recommend this tour.
