This is a great drive in a clean and comfortable bus around Providence. I’d never been here before. You don’t see much in depth but the tour guide is very knowledgeable and can help you figure out what you want to go back to on your own. The pick up point has public restrooms and a nice visitors center. I’m all set to go out and see Rhode Island!

Being a RI newbie, this tour allowed me to get to know the city of Providence in general. Ted, our tour guide was fantastic. I could tell he really loves the city of Providence and of course the history. In this tour you are able to see and hear about pivotal parts of Providence as well as stretch your legs and see some amazing sights.

Short tour but hit all the major stops. 1 hour 45 minutes. A few stops for pictures and check out the area. Small passenger van was comfortable and ample windows to see the sights. Worth the price. I’d go again and recommits tour.

Local guide who knew so many interesting facts about the history of the city of Providence. The small tour van was a bonus, easy to get and out of for pictures and better views. Many streets were closed due to a big sports event, but our guide knew his way around the city and we were able to see everything. Great tour w lots of information.

Great tour of several districts and neighborhoods in Providence including the Brown University Campus. Jon was an excellent guide giving interesting historical facts about both Providence and Rhode Island. Highly recommended!

We had a fun and informative tour of Providence, led by John, who was a fantastic guide—engaging, knowledgeable, and easy to follow. The tour itself was a great length, though we definitely could’ve used a bit more time at the first stop to fully enjoy all the culinary goodies.
One thing to note: the meeting location was changed. Thankfully, we received a call ahead of time, but some other attendees hadn’t, which caused a bit of confusion at the start. It was the first tour of the season, so a few small kinks are understandable—and honestly, they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment at all. A great experience and well worth it!

Providence is small so you wont see a lot of sites. However, you will learn a lot about the history of Providence.

The tour was a wonderful overview of Providence. Phil, our tour guide, was so interesting and informative. It was easy to see how knowledgeable and passionate he is about Providence. It’s a city that offers beautiful architecture and amazing food. I’ve never been disappointed with Viatour.

Our driver and guide Phil was fabulous! In addition to knowing the area well, he is a great storyteller. Phil is proud of his RI heritage and has a sense of humor about its small/big size. We had a fine time on this tour, learned a lot, and appreciate the opportunity to see this interesting city.

This was a fabulous trip. Our driver/tour guide was wonderful. Jared knew the history and backstory of everywhere we went. He stopped for photos at the best places. Give yourself an extra 30 minutes for questions and detours due to road work. This tour is well worth the cost and time. It was the best way to see Providence. I would take the tour again if I could return to Providence.

One of the best tours I’ve taken of the city. Maybe the best. Our tour guide was warm, extremely knowledgeable and prompt. He told us such interesting facts about what we were seeing, and tips about what to see and do, and knew gobs about history. He was wonderful. Ask for Jared!
