This was a very good tour. Our guide provided was very enthusiastic, and he provided us with great information regarding Rhode Island’s role in the formation of America, including the American Revolution, the industrial period and the gilded age.
My only constructive feedback is that both Apple and Google Maps could not pinpoint the exact tour meeting point location. Fortunately, the onsite representative called to locate me, and I could actually see him a block away from me.

The bus is very comfortable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept things interesting. We were able to get off the bus to take pictures quite often. We had a great time!

Fantastic introduction to Rhode Island! No stone was left unturned. Saw everything and experienced everything. The guide has a wealth of knowledge that can not be rivaled. Highly recommend. If you only have one day in RI this is the all inclusive tour for you.

Bring along some water. I met other single travelers and connected with them for the day . Tour driver Ted was truly enjoyable, filled with facts and stories . He made the day pass quickly with some trivia questions and engaging with all the people .

I made travel plans to Rhode Island and was looking for something fun to do during my stay. I saw the Tour Rhode Island in One Day online with high ratings and decided to book a date, and glad I did. The tour guide was engaging and provided both historical and fun facts. It was great to check out all the cool places in one day without doing the driving. I recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Ocean State.

Unfortunately we didn't do the day trip of Rhode Island and Newport. It was cancelled due to insufficient numbers. The tour operator rang me and let me know and suggested doing the small group bus tour of Providence. It was a good alternative and cheaper so we will get a refund for the original tour. The operator/ guide/ driver, Phil, was very knowledgeable of the history and also had some good anecdotal stories. We were able to get out of the bus and look around at a specific site which was good especially in the Italian quarter. I would recommend this tour as it gives you a good overview of Providence.

Viator provided the incorrect meeting place to start the tour; therefore, joining the tour was a major hassle. After we joined the tour at its first stop, we thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was excellent. He was very friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeable. Roger Williams Park was gorgeous. I highly recommend this tour.

Ted was fabulous! I grew up in RI and left when I was 21, over 40 years ago! He was so informative and interesting! I learned so much and enjoyed all his great stories and info! All the places we visited were wonderful, and time for lunch and pictures was perfect! I definitely recommend this tour!

We made a trip to Providence specifically to take this excursion. The excursion was canceled due to a lack of customers (bad weather). I'm not sure about our refund.

We booked this tour with the expectation to learn about RI history and see as much of the state as we could, and this tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to everyone’s needs. We saw breathtaking sceneries and learned about RI founding values of peace, hope and freedom to choose.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that loves history.

Guide was very knowledgeable! Rhode Island is a pretty state. This tour takes you everywhere but Providence. They offer a Providence tour I wish we had time to take.

It is rare that we have to cancel a tour because we didn't reach the minimum. We certainly don't want that to happen. To be fair, as you know, we reached out to you the day before to let you know where the numbers were, and offered for you to join us on a different tour that day.

Ted's professionalism was at the centre of our pleasant experience. Ted obviously loves his job as a tour guide. He also loves RI and loves tourists. Enormously knowledgeable about the early history of RI, its founders, its evolution, democratic libertarian political thought, First American Nations, American Christian origins, Church beginnings of 7 of the 8 Ivy League Universities and the geography and climatology of RI are a few aspects of Ted's forte. Overall, it was a fantastic educational tour. All credit goes to Ted. I strongly recommend this tour to you!
