    Worth it!

    Janet_L, Apr 2026
This audio tour of Olympic National Park provided very useful information on highlights in the area. The driving prompts were most useful. There were interesting stories along the way, also. I will admit that after a couple of days, the voice got a bit annoying, and would start up suddenly. Maybe a quiet "ding" just before he started talking would help! That being said, this was a big help.

    Awesome

This was the best 20 bucks we’ve spend in a long time. Highly highly recommend. Guide is very accurate and gives you a lot of historical, natural, and anthropological information. Then there’s the droll sense of humor which we grew to love.

    Self driving tour

    Dina_C, Sep 2025
My friend and I were not sure what all to do so I purchased the self driving tour. The information in the tour was great have us spots to stop that we never would have know about. The history of the area and fun facts were great. While playing the audio it was nice it would break into our music and then after the information it would go back into our music. Highly highly recommend this. Will buy other tours for other areas.

The guide on the audio tour was very good. He provided great and timely information during the route. He pointed out great things to make sure and see, along with things that could be visited if time permitted. He also provided some great insight on history, science, and overall information on the park and its surroundings. Would highly recommend this self guided tour for Olympia National Park visits.

Spot on. Easy to use with little tech savvy.

    Jim_D, Aug 2024
Directions and commentary were spot on. Amazing synchronization with GPS. A great balance of sites to see cultures to understand. Local, economic drivers, and history narrator was very clear and enthusiastic. My only criticism is that the volume was too loud and I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it either in the app on my phone or with the car speaker.

    Response from Host, Aug 2024

Hi Jim, Thank you for sharing your experience with our Olympic National Park audio tour! We're thrilled you enjoyed the directions and commentary on our Self-Guided Tour. We take pride in the synchronization with GPS. For the volume issue, you can adjust it through either your phone's settings or your car speaker settings. We hope to join you on the road again soon.

This was an excellent narrative. It took us to places we might have skipped. Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach were highlights as was seeing a bear along Hurricane Ridge.

    Response from Host, Jul 2024

Wow, bear sighting! That’s pretty much the only thing that can make our Olympic Audio Driving Tour better. Thank you for sharing your experience with GuideAlong (formerly GyPSy Guide), Lee! We hope to join you on the road again soon!

We greatly enjoyed the app and appreciated that the commentary wasn't the same going to and from on the same road.

    Response from Host, Apr 2024

Hi Jill, thank you for sharing how much you enjoyed exploring Olympic National Park with our self-guided audio tour. We're delighted to hear how much you liked listening to the commentary, including the different commentary driving each direction, and hope to join you on more road trips.

    An inexpensive and great time!

    Laurie_J, Mar 2024
This is such a wonderful idea because my husband is disabled and can’t walk far but with a self guided drive tour he doesn’t have to. It got us out of the house on a fun adventure that we can finish at our convenience. I promise you, it is the coolest thing we’ve done in awhile. The app was completely self explanatory and no problem at all for us two “old” folks.

    Response from Host, Apr 2024

Hi Laurie, thank you for taking the time to share that our self-guided audio tour through Olympic National Park was 'the coolest thing' you've done recently! It makes our day to hear that you husband was also able to enjoy the adventure so much, and that you found the app so easy to use. We hope to join you both on more road trips.
