Such a fun experience for our first day in Naples. Our host, Gino was excellent!! He was patient, funny and very nice. Gino made us feel very welcome and did a great job explaining the process and sharing information about Naples, history of pizza and information about the ingredients.
We would recommend this experience on your first or second day visiting Naples. We got to make the tiramisu, pizza dough and then added toppings to make for lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious.
Amiro Restaurant is located near the Spanish Quarter or Molo Bevellero. It was clean, the other employees were also nice, and it had bathrooms.

Class and instructor was great. This was our first stop after landing in Naples and totally worth it, especially if you absolutely love pizza. We also met some awesome people who we ended up hanging out with later that evening.
The main reason for not giving this 5 stars was that the mozzarella cheese was smoked. We are vegetarian (and do not like the smoked flavor) and did not expect (nor were we told that was it was smoked). Upon biting into the pizza we just made, it was disappointing, so we were not able to finish the pizza. If you don’t like smoked cheese, you may want to ask if there is another option. Wish we knew this beforehand.
The tiramisu was amazing in flavor.
Otherwise, the set up and walk through is great, and the restaurant is cute. The unlimited wine definitely helped!

Would do it again if I come back to Naples
The whole experience was interasting, with the chef making it an even more fun and immersive class. The only issue was with the cooking of the pizzas. While all members of the class followed all steps together (adding to the group vibe), when cooking the pizzas there was a noticeable gap between people having theirs cooked and others still waiting, forcing the group to split. If the cooking times were planned better, there would be absolutely nothing negative about the experience !!
Attended the class with my family of four and a family friend (younger ones are ages 19, 17, 17) We found the location easily; on the second floor of a local restaurant. Claudio was a wonderful host and we all had fun!

This was a wonderful cookery experience. Both Gino and Claudia were fabulous hosts. They imparted their knowledge in a professional and humorous manner displaying patience to us mere amateurs. Pizza will never taste the same again in my house. They made preparing Pizza and Tiramsu look easy. They were super organised and allowed plenty of time for chatting and questions. Of course eating our finished products was most enjoyable together with a complimentary drink. A nice touch was the presentation of certificates and the small gift. I would highly recommend this culinary experience to any visitors to Napoli

Gino helped by Claudio led a wonderful master class in the art of pizza and tiramisu making. Who‘d have thought so much icing sugar went into the dessert !! A great way to spend a rainy day and mix with other nationalities when eating your creations over lunch with an Aperol Spritz.
