Luis is the best, highly recommended him as your guide!
The entire trip was perfect! To be honest even through there are a ton of great reviews I was a bit skeptical.
Luis gave us a ton of history and stories and the ride in the bus was gorgeous!
All three wineries were fantastic! We started at Girard, then Varozza, and ended at Aurburn James. They all had very different vibes and the wine was incredible!
I would 100% do it again!! Thank you again Luis!

This was such a fun experience. We had a great group of people and conversation easily flowed. Steve was our tour guide and he was excellent. A lot of knowledge about the history Napa, the wineries and the wine making process. You could see/tell he had great relationships with the wineries as well which added to our experience. I love that they switch up the wineries each time and especially if you are a repeat client. Definitely give this a 10/10 rating!!!

Luis was a great tour guide with in-depth knowledge and funny jokes! The bus was very comfortable and the U shaped seating lead to easy conversation with all!

We enjoyed our tour of 3 boutique Napa vineyards. We were extremely fortunate to have shared our tour with a great group of fellow wine-ohs. There were 8 of us, which is a very manageable number of people for a tour. Our guide was Casey, he was a lot of fun and very informative, I genuinely believe he loves his job. The first vineyard was superb! Varozza Vineyard was precisely the experience we were hoping for! The vineyard was beautiful, charming and had a family style table for wine tasting. Diana owns the vineyard with her husband Jack, she was absolutely lovely! We never felt rushed and the wines were delicious, outstanding rose made from Cabernet grapes and I’m not big on rose! Stop two was Bennet Lane with Travis. The wines were really good and I really liked Travis. Bennet Lane had a completely different vibe, more of a professional feel on the inside, but the entrance had a gorgeous wisteria tree in full bloom and the garden area was lovely. Casey brought us a nice lunch to enjoy in the garden. Third stop was the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I won’t publicly name the vineyard because times are tough. The gentleman who took us on the tour was a nice man with an incredible memory for names, but perhaps less of a continuous rapid fire quiz would have been better. There was another tour group there at the same time, so we spent most of the tour standing outside in the heat. Sadly, we didn’t like a single wine we had there. It was the only vineyard where we didn’t purchase wine. To each his own. I would absolutely recommend this tour, really good experience and extremely reasonable! The wineries change according to the guides, but I really hope you get to go to Varozza!!! ❤️

Probably was the best experience of our whole Napa trip! My partner has done this tour two times before and it’s consistently been her favorite experience in all of Napa. Very much recommend!

Great experience. Amazing history. Great wineries. Knowledgeable and fun guide. Will do it again next time we are here

Perfect trip in Napa. Professionally run, informative and interesting and overall just right. Lewis, our guide super knowledgeable and had fun along with us. Boxed lunch at the 2nd vineyard was perfect. The others on the tour were friendly and engaged. And of course lots of outstanding wine throughout our 5 hour adventure

The trip was great. I loved the 3 boutique wineries we went to. We got a lot of great information. The driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

This was our first time visiting California, and although it was a little colder than we expected, the wine tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide, James, was fantastic knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience fun and seamless. The group we spent Valentine’s Day with was wonderful, and it made the wine tastings even more enjoyable.
The views were beautiful, the education about the wines was informative without being overwhelming, and overall it was such a fun and memorable experience.
Highly recommend!

Really great and fun experience. One of my most memorable wine tasting experiences. Enjoyed learning about the wine making process and tasting wine directly from an oak barrel.

Communication was good prior to the wine tour and Courtney picked us up at the hotel in a comfortable minibus. We were joined by 5 other families and visited 3 wineries for the day. Courtney was energetic and provided a good overview of the Napa Valley and her passion showed throughout the day. The wineries were lesser known smaller boutique which was good for us to support small businesses. Unfortunately for the wine growers, they are experiencing a drop in wine consumption as well as exports. Many of the grapes were left on the vines unharvested. This tour is perfect for my daughter's first wine visit and she enjoyed it very much.

We were disappointed with Viator. Our 1st booking - Trolley-bus tour of Napa -was cancelled at 48hrs notice & no explanation given. We were reimbursed but no compensation for the inconvenience caused. In regard to our 2nd booking - a Small Group tour in Napa - we were informed with less than 24 to go - that there was only the 2 of us on the Napa and it was suggested to us that we transfer to the Small Group tour of Sonoma - there were 8 other booking for this trip -which we did as were afraid that the Napa tour would be cancelled. We got the distinct impression that Viator was cancelling all trips where they did not have viable numbers.
In regard to the Sonoma trip which we ended up taking, the driver/guide was very good. The 1st tasting at Laxton Cellars was very good and the wines excellent. We also liked the Wellington visit and wines. We found both the visit and wines disappointing at Mayo Cellars.
I don't understand why the costs of the wine tastings are not included in the price of the tour.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are pleased to hear you generally enjoyed the small-group tour of Sonoma, and we apologize that our communication regarding the tour details was not as clear as it should have been.
We want to assure you that we never cancel a tour, even if only one guest is booked. We offered the Sonoma option to you because many guests specifically seek out that more social, small-group atmosphere, and we sincerely apologize for any concern that we might cancel.
Regarding the wine tasting fees: they are not included in the tour price, but we do secure discounted rates for our guests. This policy is in place because wineries often waive the fee if a purchase is made, and sometimes guests choose not to participate in the tasting portion.
We truly value your feedback, as it helps us to continuously improve the experience for all our guests.

Loved the small winery vibes. A bit of a longer drive but worth it in a small group. We got paired with lovely people and enjoyed our time with 4 other couples approximately same age group.
Hayward_W, Oct 2025
Great tour and tour guide. Learned a lot beyond just visiting the vineyards. All three places were phenomenal with great people who are dedicated to the fine craft of wine making.
Linda_J, Oct 2025
We had a wonderful day! Excellent communication prior to the trip. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The wineries he took us too were amazing and varied. Our box lunch was very tasty. I am so glad I took this tour for my Napa visit! Highly recommend!
Mary_P, Oct 2025
We thought we signed up for tours not tasting. The last Vineyard was like sitting in a bar. They didn't not discuss the making of wines. They just poured wine into glasses for tasting. The tour guide was very friendly. If it wasn't for the tour driver we would have gotten an Uber to go back to the hotel. You company needs to describe the tour as wine tasting.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm sorry that one of the wineries we showed you was not more engaging. I apologize also that it was not more clear that there would be wine tasting on our wine tour. Believe it or not, that comment has never come up before. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss any of this further.

Louis was a great driver and tour guide. The wineries that we visited were great. Had a fantastic time.

We spent Friday exploring Napa Valley and had an incredible time visiting Backstage, Ghost Block, and Bread & Butter wineries. Each stop offered its own unique charm and personality, making it a beautifully balanced day of tasting and discovery.
Backstage set the tone for the day with its intimate, modern atmosphere and creative flair. The tasting felt personal and relaxed. The wines were elegant yet expressive—each one telling its own story. It truly felt like discovering a hidden Napa gem.
Ghost Block followed, offering stunning vineyard views and beautifully structured wines. Their Cabernet Sauvignon was a standout—rich, balanced, and deeply reflective of the Napa terroir. The staff were warm and knowledgeable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the craft behind each pour.
We ended the day at Bread & Butter, a bright and playful spot with an easygoing vibe. The team was welcoming and full of personality, making the experience as delightful as their wines. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were crowd favorites—refined, fresh, and perfectly suited to close out our day.
Overall, the tour captured the heart of Napa—creativity, craftsmanship, and a love of great wine shared in beautiful surroundings. A perfect Friday in wine country! 🍷🌿

Luis was great! Personal guide with small, fun group! Good mix of smaller and larger wineries. You can buy wines that you cannot find in your local stores.
Ryan_M, Oct 2025
The tour was great. Our driver, Jason was a wealth of knowledge. Funny & entertaining.
The 3 wineries were beautiful with excellent wine and staff.

Amanda_D, Oct 2025
We felt that this tour was a great value. We were glad to see 3 small wineries and travel with a small group. The tour offered plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout our wine tastings.
Paul_S, Oct 2025
Absolutely a wonderful tour. The three wineries we visited were all top- notch. as an FYI,IF You bought a bottle of wine ,the tasting fee of $25 was waived at two of the three wineries. A really good lunch at one of the wineries..the Qand A sessions at all the wineries were fun and informative. Even beer lovers like this reviewer enjoyed the tastings immensely.
Beth_B, Sep 2025
The visit to 3 boutique wineries was a great experience. We were educated on wine making, the differences between the grape varietals and tasted some great wines. Our tour guide Lewis was very informative.
