This experience will be better than any expectation you have. So smooth, the views are like nothing you can imagine pilot Jeff was funny, and very informative on everything that was going on. Such a smooth ride. You’re like a cloud floating through the beautiful sky of Sonoma!! It won’t be our last time flying in a hot air balloon.

Incredible experience! Pilot Jeff had many jokes, kept everyone comfortable, and we had an amazing flight overall. The takeoff and landing were overall smooth! It was the most amazing experience to float in the clouds. 10/10 highly recommend!
We had an awesome first time balloon experience! Jesse was a fantastic pilot, and we felt completely safe with him. His “Dad” jokes kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable.
Excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and safe. He provided a great tour with safety first and a very warm and inviting personality.
Jim was amazing was so phenomenal in explaining the region from the sky.
We were also lucky to get a phenomenal fog back to fly through and then get ‘mountains sitting in the clouds’
We could not ask for a better experience.

This was an experience of a lifetime. Nacho was an amazing pilot. He taught us so much about the different types of crops in Napa Valley and he taught us about the ballon itself. He was so patient and knowledgeable about the Valley and a very experienced pilot. I would definitely recommend this ballon ride to anyone.
We had a great balloon experience from start to finish. Our pilot, Nacho, was very personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire ride. He shared interesting information, answered questions, and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable and well-run adventure that we would definitely recommend.
Staff was very engaging, made us feel comfortable and safe! They were a well oiled machine as far as working together the whole time ! Beautiful views and informative about the whole area we were seeing, explained other places to visit while we were in town!

Pilot Mateo was skilled & knowledgeable. Balloon ride was EPIC. I didn’t image it could be so much fun.
I had to give a rating to be able to leave a review. The 5 stars is misleading because the flight was cancelled twice— once for rain and the second day it was too windy. However, we were informed in a timely manner and the money was quickly refunded, so in that sense it does get a good review. Next time I am in the area I will book for earlier in my trip so that if the weather doesn’t cooperate I can hopefully still manage to fit it in
Our hot air balloon experience was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was well organized and professional. Our pilot, Mateo, was outstanding—calm, knowledgeable, and experienced.
The scenery was breathtaking. Watching the sunrise from above and floating peacefully over beautiful landscapes was truly magical. It was an experience we will never forget.

Lovely experience and Nacho was a good pilot and storyteller. Being over vineyards is a great start to any day. I liked that the basket was divided into sections which keeps the weight balanced. Our group took photos for each other to capture the moments.
Note: you'll be in the air for 1 hour and based on wind speed, we traveled 5 miles.
Logistics: easy to follow and plenty of follow-ups. Lighted signs were an asset
This is unreliable company,my thought it was not about the weather, probably more like they have issue or have less passenger that sign up.

First, I am sorry we missed the mark in this with you. If there’s anything we can do give us a call.
Second, to address your points no local company flew as there was a high speed wind advisory issued by NOAA for gust up to 35 at higher elevations. Making balloon flight unsafe.
Since we are the only hot air balloon repair station in the area, the other company actually was in our shop so we could fix their equipment.
Great times we had a big group and work out , very organize and save. So good we are doin it again. the staff super friendly
Great experience! Best birthday gift! Seeing the beautiful sunrise and views. Our pilot was Mateo and he was awesome! The ride was not scary at all in fact it was smooth and safe. Worth doing this activity if you are considering. My partner was afraid of heights but once we started going up the fear went away. Again great experience!

Amazing balloon ride over Sonoma and Napa. Great experience and flight. The team at Sonoma Ballooning are nice and detailed. You can tell they are experienced in what they do. Mateo was a great pilot.
The experience was amazing. The whole staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their jobs and the surrounding landscape. Our flight attendant was Jeff a funny and happy person. I would recommend to all that visit Napa to do this experience.

It was a wonderful experience. The flight leaves at dawn with the other travelers that have booked that day. The pilot will take your picture in front on the balloon which was super helpful to me as a solo traveler. The flight will only take off if the weather is optimal. They rescheduled my flight because the first day was too windy. This assured me that safety was their top priority. It was a once in a lifetime experience with a trusted and experienced company.
