Hector was great and made the experience fantastic. Including knowledgeable insights while drove between wineries and even went to pickup our lunch we ordered while at our 2nd wine tour. Can’t wait to go back and ride with Hector again!

MC was very knowledgeable and great to hang out with for the day! My only suggestion would be to maybe send a survey to know what sort of experience we want to then guide us to wineries that would fit our preferences.

Yes we always ask prior any preferred wineries and most clients don't realize to book high end wineries requires reservation by credit card that Viator don't share with us. Best to always call directly to us the service provider to discuss winery experiences of choice.

We had a couple of problems with the trip. First, the tour operator snuck an up charge of $200; in theory to cover travel distance $80, a gratuity of $80 and a fuel charge of $40. What exactly did the base fee paid to Viator cover? We had to pay ourselves at two of the wineries.
Second, the driver of the SUV had no knowledge of winemaking or the nuances one would expect. She was cheerful, but limited professional vocabulary. As it turned out she revealed that she is one of the bookkeepers and fills in driving when they are overbooked! Not worth an $80 gratuity. Such a disappointment.
Finally we have used Viator extensively in Spain and Portugal and were delighted with the service and the guides. Very disappointed with this booking.

We apologize if the experience was not what it was expected our chauffeurs are experienced with wine country and keep clients Safe on the road and on schedule. The wine education is done at wineries while tasting they are the ones well versed on the characteristics of the wine and terroir. As per charges you had agreed to the travel fee since your pickup location was 2 hours roundtrip, and extra fee for gratuity plus refuel is fully stated in Exclusions on the booking ticket from Viator. As per our conversation after the review was posted we have refunded the extra fee that you mention was an upcharge and kindly waiting the removal of this review as promised, thank you in advance.

My wife and I visited Sanoma for the first time and used viator as our chauffer service for two days. Both the drivers were very nice and gave excellent tips on different tasting location options. Using a driver takes the stress and worry out of spending a day doing wine tastings and I would highly recommend this companies services.
