Explore Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach and look for wildlife on this 2-hour Segway Tour. Limited to just eight travelers, book in advance to guarantee your preferred tour date and departure time.
Make your way to the south parking lot of Huntington Beach State Park at least 30 minutes before your tour time. Get set up with your Segway and helmet and receive a brief tutorial on how to use it before the tour departs.
Follow your guide around the park, including along the park’s freshwater lake, and look for alligators basking in the sun, along with other wildlife such as minks, and different species of birds. At the Environmental Education Center, see loggerhead turtles and other endangered wildlife.
The tour ends back at the starting point. Feel free to explore the Moorish-style Atalaya Castle (own expense) or explore other parts of the park afterwards.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- We have the ability to transport necessary items i.e. cameras, phones, drinks, etc. These can be carried in the Segway bag on each unit.
- Please note there is an entry fee to the State Park and is payable at the main gate. This fee goes to the park authority and is not part of our fee.
- Patrons need to arrive 30 minutes before tour time. Give an extra 15-20 minutes from what GPS says.
- Patrons arriving after tour start time will miss out and will not be refunded. We can't keep other patrons waiting.
- No one over 300 pounds.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

The tour was excellent and Bob the tour guide was very informative & professional. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who is visiting Myrtle beach. Additionally, the Segways are easy and fun to operate after a quick lesson by the tour guide.

First time.on a segway. It was fun. Gave us time to get used to it then went thru the park. Gave us the history of Huntington estate. We saw gators in the water. A little info on local nature. Rode on the street, walkways and a short distance on a trail. Overall a fun trip and Bob the guide was great.

Mend this tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very safety conscious. He made sure we were all comfortable driving these for the first time. My husband has heart issues so he could have never walked to and seen as much as we did today. Awesome experience!!

Enjoyed it very much. Was a little apprehensive at first having never been on a Segway but the training eased my mind. Tour guide Bob was very informative and knows the area and history well. We will definitely do this again on our next trip to Myrtle beach.

This was so much fun! Bob is awesome and we really got to ride in all different areas with the Segway and see cool stuff in the park. Got to ride on pavement, a giant grass field, and trails in the woods. He takes photos and videos on your phone of you on the Segway if you want. And he is very knowledgeable about the area and runs a very safe operation. We loved it so much we booked a second tour this week at his Huntington State Park location.

This was an exceptional experience and would highly recommend for anyone. Bob was amazing, providing great insights, facts and history, but not too much. He was very attentive to details of our safety, and never once did I have concern about that. We would do this again in a heartbeat!

Bob was a great tour guide, he spent time with us individually to be certain we were comfortable on the Segway and then lead us safely through the park, giving us great information on the history of Huntington Park and Atalaya Castle. We had just enough breaks and he even provided water bottles for us. It was a great day overall, definitely worth it!!

This was so much fun. Our 12 yo granddaughter was hesitant about getting on a Segway. Bobby was very patient with her and helped build her confidence till she gained her comfort zone. He shared interesting history of the park during the tour and insured our safety at all times. It was so much fun we didn’t want it to end!

A lot of fun and a good learning experience if you've never operated a Segway! If you wear shorts or short sleeves use bug spray as the mosquitos or whatever they were were quite vicious! Appreciated the photos Bob took & actually sent to us - lots of gators!

Interesting ride through the park. Saw four alligators cross the road! Instructor was very good and made sure we followed all safety rules. I learned a lot about the castle and the nature around it. This was a bucket list experience for me. I would definitely take a Segway tour with this company again!
