I am so glad that you enjoyed it. That tour that you were on was the first of our 7th Season. Thank you for helping to make the tradition continue.

The whole trip was excellent. Katherine was so friendly, very knowledgeable. She really enjoys her job, very enthusiastic. The veteran was just wonderful. This was the 2nd time we went on this military tour. We all recommend not only veterans but non-vets to learn and appreciate what they did for all of us. Thank you. Also a special thank you to our trolley driver.

We attended with tour with my parents. My dad was a colonel in the airforce. we found the tour very interesting and enjoyable. We also really enjoyed the guest speaker portion of the tour. He was fascinating.

It means the world to know that you and especially your father enjoyed this tour. I like to think of our guest speaker who was the last man to leave the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base when it closed in 1993, and who flew the A-10 in Desert Storm which is on static display in Warbird Park, as a living legend as well as being an engaging and informative presenter. It was an honor to have you aboard and I look forward to seeing you on the other tours. Thank you.

Interesting tour of the Market Common area which used to be the old Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Many of the old military buildings and base housing are still in use throughout the community. The tour included an interesting talk from a local retired Air Force Colonel (the plane he flew is on display at Warbird Park in Market Common) while enjoying appetizers at Tupelo Honey. As a new resident of Market Common, highly recommend!

We welcome you to your new home and thank you for joining us. It truly is a wonderful place to live now...and back then. Col. Barton would often tell his men when they arrived that the MBAFB would be one of, if not the, best places they would ever be assigned. They, in retrospect, readily agree.

Exceeded my expectations! Definitely add this to your must see list! Myrtle Beach is so rich in history that I was not aware of.

We are so glad that you enjoyed the tour. It was certainly our pleasure to share both our well-known and little-known history with you. We hope you can join us on our other tours, each with their own surprises.
