What To Expect

Make your way to the SkyJump office in the retail section of the Stratosphere Hotel, Casino, and Tower, located right on the Las Vegas Strip. Listen to a safety briefing and put on a jump suit before making your way up to the top of the 108-story tower. You can also buy add-ons, including photos and a wrist camera to wear during your jump.

When you reach the top, staff will strap you into a harness and prepare you for your daring jump. When you’re ready, simply leap off the tower and experience the rush as you fly toward the bottom, where you’ll be met by staff and cheers.

Q:How much is parking at the STRAT?

A:There is a nominal fee for parking for guests who wish to self-park. Oversize parking is available in the lot directly across Las Vegas Boulevard (east of the casino).

SkyJump at The Strat purchased through Viator

I purchased SkyJump tickets for my son and I the Sat. before Easter March 30, 2024 to reserve a spot for Wed. April 3, 2024. I thought it was weird that a reservation time was not provided to us. I did receive email and text notifications of payment going through and reservation accepted for Wed. 4/3/24. Viator game me instructions to show up at The Strat SkyJump check in location inside the hotel after they open at 2p. When we got there, Jeanette who tried checking us in did not see a reserved slot in my name. I called customer service and they could not find my reservation. I told them I started making the reservation on line through the hotel site and they gave me a list of 40 different 3rd party vendors to purchase tickets through. I selected Viator and did it that way, reserved the day and made the payment. The Customer Service rep came back on the phone after I gave her the name of the vendor Viator. She found my reservation but told me The Strat did not have time to have my son and I do the jump that afternoon at 3:15p when we arrived. The next earliest time they could get us in was at 7:45p. What was I to do? Lose my $307 payment and say we can not do that time or make arrangements to come back at 7:45p to do the jump? We had made plans in the morning to go to downtown Vegas for dinner and meet up with my cousin and her family plus we made a reservation that same night for a helicopter strip view ride with Maverick at 10p. Manager Jared came over and apologized for Viator's error in not having us call The Strat a week before arriving to select a specific time. I told him my wife and daughter were here up on the observation deck so he gave us free passes to get up there and meet them plus offered us free transportation anywhere we needed to get to plus compensated us both with free pics and video of our jump experience.....did this on his dime since Viator failed to do their part. Jared also told us that they are trying to get rid of all 3rd part time vendors because of this very reason of no time selections. My son and I did the jump at 7:45p; we both were done by 8:15p and we got our pics and videos. We canceled the family meeting downtown then left The Strat to go to Maverick Helicopter. Jared's transportation driver was not available so we paid for a Lyft instead. We did our helicopter strip tour at 10p as planned then made it back to our hotel for the night. Overall, the SkyJump experience was amazing at night. The jump staff was friendly and treated us with respect and kindness to answer all our jumping questions to calm down our nerves. We would recommend this experience to our family and friends but to NEVER go through a 3rd party vendor agency for payment and reservation. That was the biggest mistake we made. Viator really screwed us up causing us to maneuver our Wed. afternoon and night plans. Will never use Viator again. Jared and Jeanette were good with us.

Great staff, great directions, great safety checks. The staff was actually concerned about your feelings. The nerves kicked in when actually standing on the egde. But, once i stepped off, it was so awesome! I would definitely do it again.

The height is what almost made me turn around…. Glad I didn’t though. I stepped up and stepped off being really unsure…. So to tell the truth , as soon as you step off the platform it is literally like sitting in a swing. Ladies bend your legs when you come to the bottom. Your lady parts will thank you….. You also get a ticket so you can go back up to the observation deck, which is such a beautiful view for sunset. You place all your belongings into a locker and you take the key the key with you. You have to take off anything that could dangle, like earrings or necklaces. I was able to keep my studs in though. They could use more signs at the entryway to get to the check in point. If you buy your tickets on Viator, you skip the box office line. Buy your ticket the day before and pick whatever time you want to go. If you wait til the day of, you will be SOL…

It was an amazing experience . I’m not good with heights however the amount of security check points the staff made along the way made the jump feel like it was safe to do . Definitely recommend 100% for a thrill ride .

Ok for first timers but not a thrill jump.

Not a true jump or drop. Your speed is limited to 59mph and you go down vertical instead of horizontal. It’s a slow decent vs a true bungee drop. .
