I had watched Oppenheimer when it was in the movie theatres and decided to come here on a whim. This was a very interesting museum and definitely worth viisting. The guide walking the floor provided even more information. Recommend visiting this museum right down from the action of the Vegas Strip.

Very informative museum, wonderful gallery’s with lots of information. Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

A lot of information about much more than the atomic bombs are covered. The museum felt outdated and dull.

My husband and I visited the Atomic Museum and it was eye opening! Though we already knew most of the history behind it, nothing prepared us for what we saw and read at this beautiful and well crafted museum. The pictures, the history, the details behind every artefact, every photograph, etc. this was a very enlightening experience for us, very rich in knowledge which we greatly appreciated.

Fun and informative tour of the history and contemporary state of the Nevada automatic testing site. Very cool cryptographic section and a section on the US atomic bomb development during WW2. Only wished it had some more sections for a longer visit.

Fascinating and informative museum. Lots to see and learn - everything from the Manhattan Project to rocket engines, test sites, and the science behind it all. Highly recommend.

My husband loves history and Vegas so this was an obvious stop for us. Great details about history and friendly staff. There’s an option for a guided tour with headphones or just browse and learn on your own. Definitely purchase through aviator because tickets at the door are $50 each or $75 with guided touring. I only paid $29/ea.

Fantastic to give an interview understanding of atomic testing. The science, the politics and the secrecy of the whole era.

Superb museum preserving history and heritage, including a volunteer docent, a resident retired expert.

We attended an excellent video presentation, were able to view exhibits up close and gained education with historic reminders.

This is a self-guided experience and it's at your discretion what pace you take through the exhibit. I did the entire thing twice: once to take pictures, and a second time to read all the placards to contextualize whatever I happened to be looking at. This place has a surprisingly eerie feeling considering it isn't deliberately designed to feel macabre. I'm going to see Christopher Nolan's new movie Oppenheimer later today, and I thought that this would be a nice activity to accompany seeing the movie.
