Host did a no-show and ghosted

I was never contacted by the host. Could not reach the host, the +44 UK phone was set to voicemail. Went to the location and our host was not there. Ghosted at the location with no contact. This was a terrible experience, just being stranded here. The night has been ruined and I want my money back.

This was Formula One weekend. Due to the race, our first venue, which is also the meeting point, had to change. All guests, including yourself, were contacted over a week in advance with the updated details, with multiple follow-ups sent. Unfortunately, we never received a response from you. Because we had no confirmation and no reply, we issued you a full refund before the event took place. You were not charged, and you were not ignored. Several attempts were made to reach you, and the refund was processed due to the lack of response. For that reason, the claim that you were “ghosted” or left stranded is not accurate.
