Last minute grief due to processing error

Was not allowed to attend event due to a processing issue on Viator's side. I was lucky in that I was able to directly book the event through the resort when they said they didn't have my ticket. After calling Viator, they acknowledged the issue was on their side, though they couldn't even confirm that they would give me a refund then and there.
