The captain, Trent and Kevin were great. We saw plenty of dolphins. The captain was great at explaining how the boat operated and what he was doing thought it the trip. Kevin explained the area we were sailing through and the wildlife in the area. It was a really great doing experience.

I was celebrating my birthday and everything about my Hilton Head boat experience was great! I learned a lot about Hilton Head and spotting a few dolphins was an added bonus. Would definitely do this again!

Totally recommend this option for touring HH on the water. Paul; our captain was a wealth of knowledge, super friendly and recommended great places to eat in area.
Had to change our experience from sail boat to power boat because there was no wind but thankful they had the option to do so. Will be booking again when we return!

Captian Paul and JT were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. From the moment we were greeted and brought on board you could see the pride they took in maintaining this beautiful sailboat. Paul's stories were both entertaining and educational. We left with a better knowledge of sailing, as well as many interesting facts about the island and marine life. My wife and I would love to come back and would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Captain Paul and First Mate Kevin were so welcoming and knowledgeable. We saw several dolphin pods and learned so much about them. We didn’t get much by way of wind. Sailing winds usually pick up later in the afternoon/early evening so next time I will book accordingly. They even let us bring our Daisy, our Great Pyrenees, who did great though she is no water baby. Next time, we will get a dog sitter for her to stay ashore. She prefers her creek at home.

From the first moment we met Captain Paul and Kevin we felt welcomed, safe, and secure. When we reached the majical 35* we were truly "having fun"!. Not only was this a " sailing adventure" but a lesson in the history and folklore of Hilton Head Island. Captain Paul's stories were captivating!

Although the weather did not allow us to go, the captain was amazing and let us go on the boat and tour around and taught us about the boat. Very said a storm came in as it was effeminately going to be an amazing trip. The captain made sure that we were safe and the storms coming were not looking good. He gave us coupons for other activities.

I went with my three young adult children. We had a wonderful sailing experience. The captain Paul explained everything to us along with Deborah. It was a very windy, choppy afternoon and they made sure the trip wasn’t too “exciting”. They were very attentive to our needs , especially my son who felt a little seasick. It was definitely money well spent and a terrific day. I would definitely do it again.

We loved our afternoon private sail with Captain Paul and first mate, Kevin! We had good wind and some fun sailing with the rail nearly in the water a few times. Also saw some dolphins on our way back in. Captain Paul is very knowledgeable about sailing and marine wildlife, and was a lot of fun to talk to. Would highly recommend this tour!

My adult daughters and I took this trip So they could experience sailing and we could see dolphins. The sailing was fun and we did haul quite a bit. Loved that part. We only saw the tip of one dolphin. That was disappointing as we hoped we would see more. I think it should be titled just a sailing trip-leave the dolphin watch out. That way it would be a great bonus if you saw any. The crew was great and very safety cautious. It was a fun trip but a little long for us since it was just sailing and not much viewing of anything.

We are sorry that we did not see a lot of dolphins on your particular trip with us, but as you can see with most of the reviews, that is a fairly rare occasion to go out and not see dolphins. However, wind and wild life is unpredictable but we try to make the most of it on every sailing trip we do. We are glad you enjoyed the sailing portion of our trip.

Capt Paul and Kevin were great. Wasn’t a lot of wind but we went searching for it and found some so we did get to get a feel for sailing. Experience was great regardless. Very friendly and personable. They even entertained our 7yr while my wife and I chilled on the bow of the boat! Surprised they didn’t throw her overboard! Will book again in the future.

We had the best time on the sailboat with Captain Paul and Jude. Captain Paul was very knowledgeable about sailing and was also a great tour guide. Jude was super helpful and clearly knew her way around a sailboat! Captain Paul told us a lot of fun stories about the area. We were treated very well and felt comfortable on the boat. We highly recommend Anchors Away Sailing Charters for a fun family activity in Hilton Head!

Paul and Kevin took care of our family and provided a fun and unique experience. The heeling of the sailboat is totally controllable, so when one of our daughters got a little anxious, Paul eased off to create a more stable ride for her. We will do this trip again next time - highly recommend!

We loved this private tour!!! Capt Paul and 1st mate Kevin were fantastic and knowledgeable and were great kids!!! We heeled at 30 degrees and the kids were able to help steer the boat and adjust the sail!! Don’t miss this unique opportunity!!! The sunset and dolphins were the icing on the cake!!!

The whole experience was great! Captain Paul and his deck hand were very personable, interacting with my enter family in a fun and entertaining way. My 10 y/o son thought he was something while steering the boat! Will do it again on our next visit to Hilton Head Island!

Our family if 5 (including 3 teenagers) had a great time! Captain Paul opened the sails and let us experience heeling, it was awesome. All three teens were smiling, a rare sight! They even helped a bit with the sails. We saw multiple dolphins, and a stingray that jumped. It was a great way to spend the afternoon!
