The Vagabond Cruise reservation office is located just behind the Harbour Town Lighthouse. If you have your mobile ticket you are able to go directly to the Spirit of Harbour Town 30-minutes before departure to board which is located on the pier in front of the Lighthouse.

Itinerary
This ferry meeting point is on Lighthouse Road in Hilton Head Island. Once you check in, board the big boat with others and get ready to make your way by water to Savannah, Georgia. When you get on board, choose to sit in the air-conditioned lower cabin or the open-air upper deck. There’s also an onboard bar where you can purchase drinks (own expense).
Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway and take in views before docking in Savannah. Get about four hours to explore the city however you’d like to before it’s time to get back on board for the journey back to Hilton Head Island.

Enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, or your favorite beverage from our full service snack bar. The Spirit makes 23 knots providing a fast, stable ride without the worries of driving and parking in Savannah’s historic district.
- Please note: There are a set of 10 steps onto the Lower Deck (inside) and an additional 10 steps to get to the Upper Deck (outside) of the boat.

Great experience! Water and weather was perfect!
Captain was a woman and she was amazing! Very informative about the area! Boat was loud but I didn’t expect anything else! Crew was great!
Lovely little trip to visit Savannah from Hilton Head. On time and better than driving. The day was warm and we were able to relax while learning some historical details along the way. Easy drop off and pick up. They offered light refreshments. We ate in Savannah.
Trip was timely and plenty of time for lunch and to shop and walk around before heading back to Sea Pines.
Lunch at the pink house was wonderful too.
The whole trip was great.
However, I was surprised that there was no mention of life jackets or even where they could be found on the boat.
This was such a fun trip. The ride to Savannah was amazing and we enjoyed the trolley tour. I would definitely do this again.
There should be no music on the upper deck only commentary. Cannot have a peaceful time without personally chosen music. Otherwise great trip.
The trip to Savannah was fine except the volume of the microphone for the first level was so low that with people talking it was impossible to understand what was being said. The trip back was horrible! The air conditioner was not cooling the cabin and people running in and out to the deck basically made it impossible to keep what little cool air there was in the cabin. My husband who is 85 was dripping sweat to the point his tee shirt was wet. It was a big letdown from our trip in May. In not so hot weather it was enjoyable.

Excellent day trip. You don’t have as much time as you think so I would recommend a quick lunch option. There was a pizza slice place in the city market that was very popular but we did not eat there
It was very hot sitting next to someone on the trolley. I recommend not going when the temp is in the 90s. Other than temp it was a great experience!
The crew was wonderful and very informative. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to spend a few hours in Savannah GA while vacationing Hilton Head.
This was a nice way to get to Savannah, but we were disappointed in the boat. The air conditioning barely worked, the toilet in the bathroom was stopped up and smelled horrible, and the noise and vibration of the engine was so intense you could barely hear the person talking next to you. We had planned on a special sunset dinner cruise later in the week on the same boat, but canceled that reservation after this experience!
The all female crew was amazing. The Captain was very informative while navigating and announcing things we should see while underway.
The dock in Savannah was partial blocked but the girls handled the situation well and got us tied up safely.
The return trip was met with a heavy thunderstorm as we docked but once again the Captain and crew handled the extreme weather like pros.
The family really enjoyed the choice of air conditioned lower deck of fresh air up top. Refreshments and snacks were also an added bonus. All in all it was a relaxing boat ride with plenty of time to stroll around Savannah. Highly recommend.
Nice,loved the walk out to the beach padding so easy to walk on the sand. Workers were friendly . It was a great week
Perfect, relaxing day trip to Savannah! The crew were very helpful and friendly. If you want a seat on the upper deck be sure to arrive early.
A fun way to not get back in the car and drive. I recommend skipping the trolley tour if you are able to walk around easily. We used the trolley once to get to a Forsyth park and we walked the rest of the way. Look up the trolley maps and stops see what you want to get to before hand :) This tour allowed my family a chance to see enough of Savannah to decide if we would would like to travel to that area in the future.

This was a relaxing way to travel to Savannah. We enjoyed seeing the scenery especially the dolphins. It was great getting to walk around the riverwalk and see the beautiful buildings and gardens as well as taste some of the local food.
Crew was extremely nice. The boat ride ride was enjoyable..along the way the captain of the ship did point out many things of interest along the way.
We had an awesome time on the Vagabond Ferry to Savannah! The crew was helpful and friendly during our ride to Savannah and our ride back to HHI! The four hours in Savannah were just enough time to hit up a few of the hot spots! Shout out to Carter (intern) for being awesome on his fifth day! He worked like a pro! We've done several Vagabond Cruises and will definitely book with them when we return to HHI!
Everything about the trip was great from start to finish, the boat was clean, the crew was fantastic, and the weather could not have been nicer. I would recommend this trip to couples as well as families.
Don’t waste your time and money on the boat ride. For the cost, there was not any narrative and what little the captain did have to say could not hear. On the return trip we were stuck inside air conditioning was poor very very uncomfortable. The noise from the motor was so loud you could not even hear each other talking. We did purchase the photo which was a plus.

It is not a 4 hour stay in Savannah. Left Harbour Town at 9am. Arrived 11:06am. Trolley didn't leave until 11:30am. They said be back at ferry at 2:30. Three hours in Savannah.
Crew was amazing. Comfortable enough. Bathrooms good.
Just disappointed we spent more time traveling as being in Savannah. 4 hours of traveling, (9-11:06) (3 to 5) only 3 hours there.

It was great from beginning to end. The crew and captain were very professional and informative. It’s a must do when visiting Hilton Head Island
Was a nice trip. We had good weather. Staff was nice. Price was reasonable. The only issue we had was a hard time hearing the history narration & instructions at the back of the boat.
What a wonderful way to spend 4 hours in Savannah. The ride and staff was everything and more than we expected.
