I booked the tour after reading so many positive reviews. Zak was excellent. The tour was a huge highlight of our vacation. I wanted my husband to be able to sit back and enjoy instead of doing all the driving. He thoroughly enjoyed it. So much history provided as we traversed the 4 hour tour. The windows were retracted going up to the top so we had breathtaking, expansive views. It started sleeting when we almost reached the top, approx 12,400 ft. Beautiful alpine tundra. The windows were put in place and we enjoyed warm hot chocolate, tea and coffee along with snacks. Cold beverages were available too. We would highly encourage this tour. Zak was engaging and offered great knowledge and insight. We have a special needs daughter who was also super comfortable and was not bothered by heights or navigating getting in and out. Thank you sooooo much. From the warm, caring check in offering pre-departure drinks and snacks to the conclusion, we felt the value far exceeded the cost. Oh and there are bathroom facilities along the the way. Some more outdoorsy than others. 😊

Rocky Mountain National Park Review

Chris_W, Jul 2026
It is worth it. Better to be taken around versus driving yourself. Everyone can then see things. I learned a few things from our guide. Thank you

Absolutely Amazing

What a fantastic experience! Wesley, our tour guide was full of all kinds of interesting information, delivering it with such passion & humor. The tour itself was spectacular with the open air van & being able to experience the beauty & grandeur of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Highly recommended!

Fun times

Sandy_G, Jun 2026
Chris was our guide and kept us laughing and entertained the whole time. We went in June and it was a lot colder than we expected towards the top of the mountain but they can close the roof if needed. The only thing we were disappointed in (and we know it can’t be guaranteed) was that we didn’t see any wildlife. It was more of a nature/history tour instead.

RMNP Tour worth the time and money

Kelly_E, Jun 2026
Great way to see some of RMNP if you don’t have multiple days to do it on your own. Our guide, Lex, was very knowledgeable and was able to give us a lot of insight and info during the tour. A few stops that are accessible to most. The retractable bus was a bonus to the tour. Comfortable, stocked with snacks and drinks, blankets for higher elevations (Alex even made us hot drinks - tea, coffee, hot chocolate at the Alpine visitors center.

Best introduction to the Rockies

Amy_C, Jun 2026
This Tour was amazing. The retractable roof made it an unforgettable experience even better. There was water, pop, snacks and even hot chocolate that our tour guide Wesley made for us when we were at the top and it was a little cold. It was the best way to get a taste of what your are able to see in the park!

Great way to do Trail Ridge Road

Norine_K, Jun 2026
Factual and lighthearted presentation of the Park in an open topped vehicle providing a fantastic unobstructed view; the best a person can get.

Amazing Rocky Mountain Experience with an Outstanding Guide

Chris_L, May 2026
We had an amazing experience on the Retractable Glass Top Tour in Rocky Mountain National Park. Our guide, Wesley, truly made the trip memorable. He shared so much knowledge about the park’s history, botany, wildlife, and fun local side stories that kept the tour interesting the entire time. We started the tour with the glass top open, which was beautiful, but after the 27.5 inches of snow the day before, it was definitely chilly! We appreciated being able to close the top at our first stop and stay comfortable while still enjoying the incredible views. One thing that really impressed us was all of the thoughtful extras included at no additional cost. They had bottled water, Coke products, hot chocolate, and even freshly brewed coffee made right in the vehicle. They also provided hiking sticks, which were incredibly helpful on the icy trails. Wesley’s personality and enthusiasm made the tour so enjoyable. Beyond the park itself, he shared recommendations for his favorite local restaurants and interesting information about the Stanley Hotel, which added even more to the experience. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park. It was informative, comfortable, fun, and absolutely worth it!

Botany

Brian_T, Oct 2025
I learned about botany, birding, geology and history from tour operator Brian in the retractable roof tour on 10-15-25. He didn't rush his presentatation. The vehicl was scrubbed clean and there were plenty of snacks to eat.

Beautiful Rocky Mountain National

Barbara_H, Oct 2025
It can get a little windy but I purchased a hat from their gift shop. The views are incredible! Zac gave us so much history and information about what we were seeing. He was a great tour guide!!
