Not what I expected. The...

Not what I expected. The bus was an hour late picking us up due to complications with the bus. But then instead of making it up to us the trip was cut short to an hour instead of the hour and a half we were supposed to do. With that they only served 3 out of the 5 teas they were supposed to give. And that last tea was given shortly before they dropped us off so we took it in our to go cup. Was also expecting more history of Dallas on this tour around town.

I wanted to love this...

I wanted to love this experience so much, but unfortunately the bus was not air conditioned prior to its arrival that we were sweating and uncomfortably hot the entire time. Thankfully one of the attendants recognized this a didn’t offer us any hot tea, but instead made them all iced, but that didn’t help with our food (and faces) beginning to melt.

It was a wonderful sister experience from our bucket list. The entertainment, the waitresses (sorry can’t remembers), the food was incredible. Everything as as a whole was so worth the price. It was amazing and the workers were fanatic, their ride viewing the city of Dallas while eating and drinking tea was wonderful.

Whew!!! Communication is key. I had 3 groups booked for 4/26 @ 6:30 pm. Well… like many of the other reviews the bus was extra late. I prompted my groups to arrive at 6pm to ensure everyone was on time. We didn’t board a little before 8 pm. This was disappointing because no one in my group is from Dallas so the tour being given in the dark was not a very good look. And we had 1 young adult (under 13) and 2 little ladies (4-5 yrs old). Luckily it was a Saturday night and no bedtimes to consider. Now, back to the review poor communication, I had to constantly ask for updates, no apologies for the delays and inconvenience, I spoke to the manager about my concerns and still no apology but he was happy to offer the customer service phone number. Being a travel advisor I was both embarrassed and baffled at the lack of customer service and empathy given not to just my party but there were several other parties affected as well. As we waited for the 6 o’clock bus arrived and they were loading 4 pm guests as well as 6 pm guests. That’s is a significant delay at that point as a professional in the service industry I would been more than apologetic as well as offering updates. The entertainment was pleasant as well as the two servers (I apologize for not remembering the names) but they were great. I enjoyed the teas and pastries. One of the lite bites were either soggy or very dry. I wish I could give a better review but the Dallas experience was rather disappointing.
