I chose this tour to pass some time before my flight and although I had been to the area before, I had never been with a local tour guide. When you visit with a guide you are exposed to hidden gems, local myths, and obscure details that you didn’t know you didn’t know! Isaac was great. He text me his location for any questions, to ensure I had the meeting point, and was on track to start with the group. Yes, it is a walking tour, but we drove around downtown first to learn more about the history of Dallas, downtown Dallas, and JFK’s route. That was also a needed escape because the temperature and humidity was in full force. We then walked the perimeter of the school book depository, Dealey Plaza, and grassy knoll. Isaac had water and fans, which was awesome! Lastly, we visited Lee Harvey Oswald’s rooming house, JD Pruiit’s memorial, and the Texas theatre. Isaac closed by sending me links to explore more information on the events of that fateful day. Very informative. As a true JFK fan I enjoyed the tour and the social atmosphere. Thanks Isaac!

As out of towners we knew that going to the Kennedy museum was a priority. But we find out after the fact that you don’t go into the museum , you can drop us off there, but we have the paying additional $50 to you to go into the Museum.. We just didn’t want to take a ride. We wanted to get out and look at things. We sacrificed over $110 to your company and didn’t even take advantage of it because we really didn’t think that the tour was gonna be what we wanted. It didn’t sound anything like we wanted to do that’s why we want we took it upon ourselves to go to the museum. If there was a way that I could get my money back I would very disappointed in the explanations given in the third-party app that you made us take on to buy this package.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed, but we believe this review misrepresents what occurred.
We offer several different JFK tour options to accommodate different budgets and preferences. Some tours include admission to the Sixth Floor Museum, while others do not. You specifically booked the option that does not include museum tickets. This information is clearly outlined in the tour description, itinerary, and inclusions before a reservation is confirmed.
What we do not understand is the expectation that museum admission should have been included free of charge when it was never purchased. The museum charges an admission fee, and those tickets are only included with the tour option that is specifically advertised as including them. Unfortunately, we cannot provide tickets that were never purchased as part of the reservation.
Nothing about your tour changed after booking, and there were no hidden fees or last-minute surprises. The reservation you made was for the exact tour that was provided. While we certainly understand that you ultimately decided you wanted a different experience, that does not mean the tour was inaccurately described.
We always encourage guests to review the itinerary and inclusions before purchasing so they can choose the package that best fits what they are looking for. Had you selected the JFK tour that includes Sixth Floor Museum admission, you would have received exactly the experience you were expecting.

Very knowledgeable guide. Great tour. All the key spots were toured and explained in detail. Our guide always answered questions along the way.

We recently took a tour of the JFK assassination site in Dallas, and I wanted to share what a fantastic experience it was. Our guide, Dan, was absolutely incredible.
If you are looking for a deep dive into history without having to spend weeks reading through dozens of books, Dan is your person. He has done all the heavy lifting and research, presenting the information in such an engaging, expert way that we felt like we were reliving the journey ourselves.
What truly set this tour apart was the depth of the narrative. Dan didn't just cover the events of the day; he provided crucial context regarding the political climate of the era, the Bay of Pigs, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also went above and beyond by driving us the entire route Lee Harvey Oswald took after leaving the Book Depository—tracing his path home, the encounter with Officer J.D. Tippit, his movements through the Texas Theatre area, and his eventual arrest.
Dan was a master storyteller and a true historian. He was patient, answered all of our questions, and provided a comprehensive experience that was well worth every penny. We booked this through Viator and couldn't be happier with the choice.
If you are visiting Dallas and want to truly understand this pivotal moment in American history, I highly recommend booking a tour with Dan.
Further, the van was new, clean and comfortably cooled.

Very informative. You will learn a lot of information and angles that you have never heard of and Isaac is the best tour guide. We felt lucky to have him and to select this tour.

Interesting but disorganised. At the beginning it was a mess with no one having a clue what bus we were meant to be on.
Overall, the guide was good - not excellent. I followed him but quite a few people seemed to have lost interest.
I liked going to the key places
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed visiting the key historical sites and found the tour guide informative overall.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion during the check-in process. During the FIFA World Cup, we experienced an exceptionally high volume of visitors from around the world, which created a busier-than-usual departure area. Even with the increased volume, our team made sure a guide reached out prior to the tour to check in and provide the specific vehicle details, including the vehicle description and license plate, for guests’ convenience and to make locating the guide easier.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the guide's presentation. Every guest has a different learning style, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving the experience we provide.
Thank you again for your review, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on another tour in the future.

I was 8 years old in 1963 and was fascinated by the first major news story that I could try to understand. I always wanted to visit Dealey Plaza and this tour did not disappoint. Anna was an excellent guide, very informative and personable. Standing behind the fence of the grassy knoll and seeing Oswald's rooming house room both gave me chills. Highly recommend!
Lee_S, Apr 2026
Extremely interesting tour retracing the tragic events on Nov 22, 1963. Isaac skillfully led an informative and provacative walking tour of the area around Dealey Plaza. Questions were welcome and there was great dialogue. If you have any interest in that horrible tragedy, you will thoroughly enjoy this tour.
Ginny_G, Apr 2026
The tour was very accommodating for anyone with mobility issues as most of the time was spent in an air conditioned van.
Aggie_S, Apr 2026
Great tour! John was very knowledgeable and just a likable guy. Very fascinating info. Besides the site of the assassination, it was pretty incredible being taken to the home where Oswald roomed and everything was preserved, along with newspapers and other items from the time.
Drew_S, Apr 2026
This tour was excellent in time of event, scope of event, and knowledgeable tour guide. Anna was very welcoming and eager to engage with her guests. There was no aspect of the Kennedy assassination that was not explored and discussed. My wife and I left the experience better informed and motivated to research and explore the historical record and the alternate theories surrounding that sad day's events.
Kent_P, Apr 2026
Excellent amount of historical and local information. We learned so much ! The tour was worth every penny.
Shannon_H, Apr 2026
We really enjoyed the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza / JFK tour in Dallas. It was very informative, and I loved hearing all the historical facts and details throughout the tour. The guide did a great job explaining everything clearly and making the experience interesting from start to finish. It gave us a much deeper understanding of the events and history connected to JFK. Definitely worth doing if you are visiting Dallas/Fort Worth area.
