The Ocoee River is one of the most popular destinations for whitewater rafting in Tennessee and flows through the heart of the Cherokee National Forest. On this tour, you’ll get a full day on the water, with full instruction and lunch included. Get your adrenaline pumping as you tackle Class III and IV rapids, admire the views as you cruise downstream, and raft down part of the ‘Olympic section’.

Big John was an excellent guide. He told us what to expect every step of the way and we handled the rafting trip like bosses. It was a great time, even in the rain. Big John gave us chances to do some cool things that not everyone was doing. Excellent Trip!!

This was SO much fun…it was my second time white water rafting and a totally different experience than my first time thanks to Big John. He was so good at guiding and directing us through the rapids. I was a little nervous bc my first experience (in another state) felt much less like we had a clear guidance and more like we were just winging it down the river. Big John was knowledgable and crucial to having a fun, smooth, and safe trip! Five stars for sure!

We took the last trip of the season. Our guide was Tim. Very relaxed and gave us a heads up on things we would come across. He had forty years experience as a guide and when someone knows their job it shows

These folks are the best! They gave clear expectations, instructions,and were full of bits of history and information. The lunch they served was light, just right to go back on the river. You don't want a heavy meal when rafting this river. Being sluggish in the rapids would not be a good thing! All in all, we had a wonderful weekend!

We went on the full day tour. Chase was out guide and he was AWESOME! He made the trip exciting and fun. When we do this again I would request Chase. We all thank you for a great float!

We had Big John as a guide. He had 16 years of river guide experience. He was a master of reading the river but also taking into consideration the capabilities of the crew. He explained everything about the river to us and made sure we were well prepared for each obstacle. Since we had a strong crew, he really put us in the "meat" of the river so we had a fantastic time but still got us out safely. The lunch was great and the whole experience was a highlight of our vacation.

River was full of exciting rapids and our guide Joel did a fantastic job navigating it with the six people in our raft. He was a lot of fun and professional while providing us with interesting river info. Lots of variety for sandwiches at lunch along with peel 'n eat shrimp. When we lost a helmet mount for our go-pro camera, guide Crispy stepped in and traded helmets so we could continue to record our adventure. Bathroom/ shower facilities were plentiful and clean. Take shampoo and soap if you plan to take advantage of showers. Highly recommend this Outfitter for the Ocoee River.

The people at Quest were all very committed to the entire group on our bus having a grand time.

Rick, our raft guide was Great! He showed us a lot of fun but made the trip feel safe. Really nice clean bath house to change in and a nice gift shop. Customer service was excellent! We are ready for the next trip down, it was SOOOO much fun.

We had a great day on our full day rafting trip! Chad our guide was wonderful and ensured we were safe, had fun and hit as many rapids as possible. I definitely recommend Quest Expeditions because all their tour operators appeared well trained. We saw many other operators on the Ocoee River, some stuck, some completely flipped out of their boats & we’re glad we picked Quest.

Our guide, Angie, was awesome. She figured out we were up for some fun and not just a stroll down the river. 360's down the rapids and surfing made for a memorable trip for our kids. This is not a float trip down the river. Everyone is working hard and none more than the guides. I don't think people realize what these guides do for us sitting in the back of the raft. Not only are they taking our safety into their hands, they are physically busting their butts for 5 hours to make a memorable trip for every person. Thank you Quest Expedition and Angie.

The trip was great. Tator was our instructor and she did a fantastic job. HUGE REASON WHY ITS 4 stars…. The lunch stop place is FULL OF YELLOW JACKETS. I’m not talking of one or two… they are everywhere especially in buckets with food there are hundreds of them. My husband is allergic and we had to go on a paved road to eat our lunch instead of enjoying the experience.

Glad you had a great time. Unfortunately yellow jackets do come out for a couple of weeks in mid to late summer...and there is not much we can do as the lunch stop is outdoors in the Cherokee National Forest. We also recommend folks bring their epi-pin if they are severely allergic to bee stings.

We had SUCH a fantastic time rafting the Ocoee with Quest Adventures. The staff at the desk were super friendly and helpful. Our river guide, Jack, was fabulous! He was knowledgeable and funny, the best we could have asked for. The rapids were amazing, and the scenery unbeatable. I can’t rate this experience or this company high enough!

My family went on Father’s Day the facility was very clean and they also had everything you needed in case if you forgot something to purchase and the breakfast at the cafe was very good
Our guide was Aaron and he was awesome he was very informative for us rookie rafters
We did the full day the upper and lower the stop for lunch was very good also

Lunch was ok. Bread needs an upgrade . Crumbled before my son could eat it. It would be nice to be given a greater option with drinks. Maybe can drinks and bottles of water ...
Overall , very enjoyable for our Father's Day Adventure . We will do again!
Wish we had the option of riding without other ppl on the raft .....I would pay more!!
