This a great tour! Our guide on the trolley was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information on Chattanooga. The train ride was beautiful and comfortable. Very interesting demonstration on how the train turns.
Highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommend, loved all the past history on the trolly and train ride. I do recommend inflection when telling the history.

Pay attention to the narrative, absolutely 5 stars! If you dont know a little about American History, and the Civil War, you may not be able to keep up. Read a little before you take the trip on the Trolley! So much knowledge from one man! It was awesome and any negative reviews are.probably from someone who brought a little kid who couldnt sit still...or someone from another country who doesnt understand what happened in the city of Chattanooga! It would be a must a see if you want to know some history about the city and the leaders. The train ride was a little disappointing. Condutor bashing the prior people before us because they wouldn't get off the train right away to see the turn around, then he was talking when we were trying to.listen to the narrative, on top we had kids that were no doubt having a good time as they were screaming and yelling, while parents did nothing in another seat. So, train ride is a hit or miss, no doubt while it's traveling but food was good at the deli at the train station and the young narrator did a great job when we stopped with narration at the turn around and at the "museum part." So that's my perspective...you may have a different one, but I would probably do it again, as so much knowledge was shared on the trolley.

It was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Craig was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot about the history of Chattanooga. The train tour was also very interesting, especially when they showed us how they turn the engine around when it gets to the end of the line. To think that 4 men use to turn the engine by hand was unbelievable considering its weight.

The trolley ride around town was amazing. We went to ride the train, waited for awhile and they announced it was canceled! Very disappointed that we didn't get to ride that day.

If you're good with listening to paint dry, this is the trip for you.
The first section was the trolley ride throughout town. The driver talked incessantly for constantly 1 - 1 1/2 hours. I am astonished he could remember all his stories. That was the most impressive part of all. The seats were all wood & extremely hard + uncomfortable.
The 2nd section was the train ride. Yes, there was a different man talking, but fortunately, it was a short ride to a railway museum.
The good part was that we all got off and had the option to go listen to another series of stories or walk around the antique engines. Enjoyable!!!!
Unfortunately, we had to ride the Trolley back to where we started & listen to NONSTOP Craig for another almost hour. So glad for it to be over.

Thank you for the high praise. We strive to be the tour in Chattanooga that provides the most information about Chattanooga.

The trolley was comfortable and the driver/narrator was good. His stories and information were enjoyable, but he needs new equipment as it was hard to hear and understand him. The train ride was fun with plenty of room and a good narrator. The stop at the train terminal was interesting and it felt good to support training. The experience was easy for us old folks as well as the young kids on the ride with us

The old south and history, the driver can talk about it all day. He was very pleasant and so is his wife and ferret. I took my service dog Wilbur, and he enjoyed the trip with some family members too. It was pretty neat watching the train turn 360 degrees. I didn’t know it existed. Julie Carter

We had a great time and highly recommend this tour event. Our trolley tour was detailed and thorough. It covered the southside, downtown, and eastside of Chattanooga highlighting historical background and points of interest. Craig is a well spoken and knowledgeable guide. The train ride, historic depot and museum, and engine maintenance facility were very interesting. The train ride was well narrated and comfortable. The Trolley-Train event is well worth the cost and your time! You will enjoy it! Thank you Craig & Donna Lee, you were outstanding hosts and guides.
