Overview
Go white water rafting in Tennessee with this half-day adventure on the Ocoee River. Get your adrenaline pumping during this seasonal excursion along 10 miles (16 kilometers) of rapids, including class III and IV rapids. We had amazing day rafting the Ocoee with Cherokee Rafting. We've probably done this trip around 10 times, but this was our first time with Cherokee and we were impressed. They have a great facility with lots of outdoors activities to keep you entertained while you wait. The bathhouse facilities were very clean and all the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly! Our guide Everett has only been guiding for a couple of seasons, but took us through "the juicer" which is something none of our other guides ever mentioned and is a ton of fun if your not too scared to get thrown out of the boat! My brother-in-law and his family also loved their experience with Ethan as their guide.
Can't wait to come back next summer to try out their high adventure trip!
Great experience with fun guides. Lunch was great and June is a great month to go. Thanks to Justin for being a great river guide. We took one spill but it was caused by another company’s guide getting in front of us. Everyone was ok and I enjoyed the swim!
Being a novice but athletic middle age group of ladies, safety was important to us. We thrive on excitement, adrenaline, fun and are adventurous and but didn’t know what to expect. Ethan and Cherokee were AMAZING not just with their jobs but are also very personable. We would tackle any river with them.

It was fantastic as they decided to take their time due to only 1 trip for the day. We spent extra time in the Olympic section of the river. Max was the best guide I have ever dealt with white water rafting
It was amazing!!!! Ryan was our guide and he was the BEST!!!! We had a blast! I would recommend Cherokee rafting to everyone and ask for Ryan!. You won’t be disappointed.
The tour company is very well organized- all the guides were interactive, knowledgeable and funny. Kept us entertained on the bus ride over. Our guide Max was high energy and laser focused on keeping you safe and having fun! The rapids were amazing!
