Book the skydiving, skip the airplane jump with this indoor skydiving experience in Charlotte. Those with a fear of heights can still feel the thrill of skydiving in this windtunnel-based activity; no terrifying plane jumps necessary. You’ll have an instructor by your side the whole time over the course of two jumps, and all equipment and instruction is included.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Service animals allowed
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
- In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.
- Minimum age is 3 years
- Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver
- It is recommended that you wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and comfortable clothes
- If you need to reschedule after your reservation is made please call the location directly. Modifications to reservation dates and times cannot be done any other way.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

Q:How does the Charlotte Indoor Skydiving Experience work?
A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

This is a good experiance for all ages. You will be weighed on site so just be prepared for that. Also they try to up-sale you several times through the experiance but it was easy to so no if not interested. The only confusing part is that buying on viator instead of directly changes how you can purchase the photos if you want any.

I absolutely loved my experience at IFly. Our instructor Brayden made everyone feel comfortable and safe. When I come back I will be sure to ask for him specifically. His energy was awesome!

Loved the experience. Absolutely disliked the up-sale strategy. It was my first time at iFLY. Mac is an amazing Hype Man. At the end of my purchased turns were complete; he asked me and the other individual if we would like another turn. His up-selling game is so innocent and friendly. Never was I told, it would cost me extra before hand (it wasn’t cheap). We were taken into another room to return equipment, where the up-selling continued and how I found out of the extra charges. I did purchase a package and tipped well. However, because of their “hidden” business model/tactics, I will not spend anymore money at iFLY.

An excellent experience to get out your comfort zone if you’re afraid of flying the instructors are very great with helping you through your fears and they walk you through step by step in directing you using hand signals in the tunnel so you don’t injure yourself differently a 10 out of 10 really looking forward in going back!!!

Be very careful when you purchase tickets, I purchased two tickets for a young ladies birthday through her boyfriend. I put it in the boyfriends name because I did not know her name. Well, the boyfriend broke up with her and they would not let her use the tickets because it was in her boyfriends name. I called and explained the situation and they would not work with me one single bit! So I had $170 go right down the toilet! I was trying to bless someone that I did not know with a gift. She never got anything at all. I lost every penny! Beware

Hi Angela, we work hard to provide value to our customers, and we’re disappointed this didn’t shine through during your experience. Indoor skydiving is a unique experience and difficult to compare to other activities. Although 2 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot, the freefall portion of one outdoor skydive is about 45 seconds and our basic package comes with 2 x 60 second turns—equivalent to 2-3 skydives—for about half the price.
