We were looking for a bigger schooner because we have a 88 year old mother. We found Appledore2 and booked on line. The process was easy. The captain and crew are friendly and have interesting stories to share. They also serve drinks onboard. The scenarios are beautiful. It was fun 2 hours in the afternoon!

Wear layers of clothing , it gets cold. It was fun watching the crew work. Drinks and restrooms are available.

It was as your crew joked and it was true it’s why Stephen King wrote The Mist!! Wish we could have seen anything the fog was so thick.. But your crew of Captain Sean and crew Mary and I forget the other sailors name… they were incredible and made it fun and we laughed …me and my wife learned from them and also getting to help was fun.. .. we will definitely book next time we come up from RI and hope there’s no FOG🤣

What a fantastic way to experience the coastal greatness of Maine. The windjammer sail onboard the Appledore was fun, educational and exhilarating. Captains Pablo and Shaun along with deckhands Andy and Max totally made the trip enjoyable. Showing us various points of interest and providing historical facts added the experience.
So happy that we booked this excursion. It was a glorious day on the water.

Captain Sean, deck hands Andy and Mary were super nice! They answered all of our questions without sounding condescending. The Appledore II was comfortable to ride on. I even got to help raise the sails. Excellent experience!

Weather was spectacular; wind picked up once o0ut on the water and provided a terrific experience. Nick & crew were accommodating and friendly...that they managed both the boat's operations AND bar service during the sail was above and beyond... :)
