Operating Schedule: The complete tour (one loop) lasts approximately 90 to 100 minutes. There is an additional 15 minute stop at the Asheville Visitor Center. Your ticket is good for ANY tour departure time on your tour day. Trolley hours vary by season. April - October (daily, every 30 minutes), November-December (daily, every 60 minutes), January - February (Fri, Sat, every 60 minutes), March (daily, every 60 minutes). *Please Note: From April - October final departures are for re-boarding passengers only.

Our tour guide, Uncle Ted, is the absolute best tour guide! Wonderful tour of the city and marvelous stories! In addition to regular tour, we also did ghost tour with Uncle Ted . Amazing!!

We had a great experience on the Asheville Hop-on Hop-off tour! Karen was awesome! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She shared pictures to complement the tour, gave us useful information about each stop, and offered great suggestions for places we might want to return to and explore longer. She was also an amazing driver! The tour was a fun, easy way to learn about Asheville and decide where we wanted to spend more time. Highly recommend!

I understand there might have been some confusion regarding our tour options. We offer two ways to experience Asheville:
90-Minute Overview Tour: This is a continuous, narrated tour of the city, perfect for those who want to see the sights without hopping off.
Hop-On/Hop-Off Tour: This option allows you to get on and off at various stops over two consecutive days, giving you the flexibility to explore at your own pace.
Both tours utilize the same trolleys, which helps us provide the second consecutive day free with your Hop-On/Hop-Off ticket. This allows guests to enjoy the full overview on their first day and then use the hop-on/hop-off feature to revisit their favorite spots on the second day.
Great way to be introduced to Asheville. Take round trip first and then follow with stops. Driver excellent, informative engaging and entertaining. Great job.

Easy to navigate. We loved the narration and jokes. Entertaining and informative. We jumped on at the Omni hotel and it was great to not have to drive anywhere once we checked into the hotel.

The tour was actually fine but the content wasn’t my cup of tea. It’s a conventional tour showing you what mostly white rich people did in Asheville. I don’t find white rich people interesting and they are not worthy of a special status. I’m more interested in history from the perspective of those who were not wealthy, which is most of us. The tour did give a good lay of the land and the guide was friendly. I found a black history tour so I’m going on that next and imagine I will find the content far more interesting.

This was well worth it to take and get an overview of Asheville without having to figure out where to park. My nephews (from Japan) were with my husband and I. Not sure how much they were able to follow of the tour but they enjoyed seeing everything. Their English teacher in Japan is from Asheville and recommended they check it out.

We started with driver/tour guide Matt, who was excellent. He was very informative but also added friendliness and a little humor to his narrative. This is a great way to get around the city and become more familiar with places and history. It has been adjusted somewhat due to long term damage and restoration from Helene.

Learning about the history of Asheville was the best part of this tour. Gene was an excellent guide, and Uncle Ted had quite the stories, he is a character. Kudos to both of these guides. I highly recommend people to utilize this tour as a place to "start" in Asheville.
