Peter was very knowledgeable about Asheville. It is the perfect thing to do when you arrive. You get a feel for the area and also learn about the people and where to go to eat etc .

It was okay. Too much info about music scene (of artists no one in the group knew of) over the years, just various name-dropping—not many stories. The few stories he told were actually okay, though. It just went on and on; it would’ve been better at a hour. Cost 10 bucks, but we tipped 30 bucks out of guilt. I should have bought a better tour. My time is more valuable than this. A lot of standing around, not much movement.

Our guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable about the area & was a great storyteller. He was very engaging, willing to answer any questions we had & offered advice about the best eating establishments. This was well worth the time for the tour & was very helpful in getting to know the area.

Learned a lot about Asheville’s famous people throughout history, architecture, musical scene, art scene, etc. The operator was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job. The downtown really needs to spiff up though.

Good food, refined atmosphere, a little pricey. Plan to share your sides, they are big. Limited parking at the Asheville store.

I wish you had provided the entire context of this in the review. You signed up a few hours before the tour was set to start on a day that it was 20 degrees. I offered you to join us the next day or any other day of the week with multiple times available and you just responded to “forget it,” so we went ahead and cancelled the tour as a result. We do our best to make sure all of our guests are happy, but we also have to be sure not to put our guides in a tough situation with just one guest. I hope you and others can understand that.
