What are people saying about San Francisco

A DO NOT MISS actively for locals and San Francisco visitors!
Christian is an AMAZING tour guide —- funny, knowledgeable, engaging!! Such an entertaining and informative evening — not to mention the fabulous architecture along the way. We learned a lot about San Francisco history and culture! It is clear that Christian loves what he does and spends time researching the topic to be able to share multiple perspectives from various published sources associated with the people, events, and locations covered ( he sends a reference list after the tour so you can continue your reading on the topics). Our last stop was an enchanting hotel where we chose to visit the bar after the tour ended for a truly stunning and delicious cocktail! I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Great SF experience
Isabelle was a wonderful guide - very knowledgeable about the area and so enthusiastic. I appreciated her personal stories. The choices of places to visit and the food were all superb. We were well fed. She even had some unusual places to visit for great views. We learned a lot about the culture and history of the area. I highly recommend this tour and Isabelle as a guide although you probably can’t go wrong with any of the guides.

Worth the climb
Our guide, Eric was great! He shared history of both San Francisco and the locations with pictures that helped to to better understand what we were seeing and why. He had a loud speaking voice that could be heard above the active streets we walked. He was a great story teller that was captivating throughout the tour. One note to those considering this tour: you have to walk up VERY steep hills (nobb hill). I had no problem and our guide gave plenty of time for everyone in our group to make it to the top, however if you struggle with walks that are more than a stroll, you might want to pass on this one. I personally enjoyed it so much, I might book it again when my husband can join me.

What a fantastic...
What a fantastic experience! The North Beach Italian Food Tour was the perfect combination of delicious food, local history, and culture. The tour lasted just over three hours, which we felt was the ideal length. The food stops were perfectly spaced, with great variety and just the right portion sizes to keep us satisfied throughout the entire experience without feeling overly full. Our tour guide, Brian, was absolutely fantastic! Being born and raised in the area, he brought an incredible amount of local knowledge and authenticity to the experience. He not only explained the different foods, their ingredients, and how they were prepared, but also shared fascinating stories about the neighborhood’s history and culture. It was clear that Brian knew the area inside and out, along with many of the people who make North Beach so special. Overall, this was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Great food, great pacing, wonderful stories, and an exceptional guide. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco!

Move over cable cars—San Francisco is a town best explored on foot. The compact city is 7 square miles (18 square kilometers) of dense neighborhoods, historic alleyways, hilltop viewpoints, and urban green spaces. While San Francisco walking tours are great for experiencing the unique character of city neighborhoods—and even a certain world-renowned bridge—they can venture beyond the beaten trails that bus tours rarely tread. They're also often organized around themes such as architecture, hiking, street art, cuisine, history, and even ghosts.
