What are people saying about Alaska

A once in a lifetime trip
Excellent trip, I thought it would not take place as it was raining and I had read that many were cancelled. A very helpful lady in the visitor centre rang and confirmed it was still taking place. The meeting point was easy to find, just near the cable car entrance. A mini bus takes you to the airfield and we saw many bald eagles on the way. I sat at the front with my husband and we got fantastic views. We landed on the ice and had a little walk around, the over boots, they provided, still made it a little slippy, but the pilot helped so we did not miss anything. I would definitely recommend this once in a lifetime trip. The airstrip is just a short drive away and they dropped you off in town, or back at the pickup point. You are sat according to weight, so you might not sit next to your partner.

So many whales - Incredible
The most incredible experience - started with a short trip by coach from the cruise dock to the boat to go searching for whales. There is an observation deck at both the front and back of the boat and snacks are provided. We were so lucky to see humpback whales bubble feeding and around 15 swam straight past the boat, truly a once in a lifetime experience. Even a sea lion swam up close. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and gave good advice on how best to spot the whales. Then onto the glacier where you can visit the visitors centre and walk to a nice waterfall with good views of the receding glacier. Our driver between stops was very funny and personable. Highly recommend this trip.

These are the guys to go Whale Watching with
What a great time. This tour was like having our own personal captain and crew. I believe there were only 17 of us on the "full" boat. It was so personalized and we saw whales "bubble net fishing". The crew of 2 put the throttle down to get us out to the site as fast as they could so we could enjoy as much time as possible watching the whales. Don't get on the boat with hundreds of tourist when you can travel with these guys. The few of us had plenty of room to spread out when we got outside of the boat to enjoy the show. I would say it was the highlight of our Alaskan cruise. Thank you!!

An Unforgettable Ketchikan Experience!
We had an incredible 3-hour custom driving tour of Ketchikan with Briggs, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide! Briggs was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of the city and provided wonderful insights into the Native culture and heritage of the area. To top it all off, He helped us spot amazing local wildlife—we saw salmon, eagles, and even a bear! It was a seamless, informative, and memorable highlight of our trip. Highly recommend Briggs to anyone visiting Ketchikan!

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
