Rainy day at Mendenhall

Our tour guide was great. He provided lots of interesting information. The tour provided the perfect amount of time for a group of nine with 2 small children to enjoy the glacier and waterfall. Due to the rain, I wish there had been more than a small covered area to wait for the trolley at the end of the excursion. We had to stand in the rain because there was no covered space available. We had a longer wait than expected because the trolley was running late to the pick up spot, for reasons out of the guide’s control.

Local culture and wildlife in Sitka

A wonderful tour run by people who care about local people and preserving culture. We had Ritch, who is as cute as button and will ensure you have the most fun day. He was so informative about tlingit people, totems and wildlife. He did several detours for awesome photo stops and whale viewing too. At the end we walked through a beautiful forest - his knowledge of tress was also exceptional. He handed out a few coins for a special little thing he does involving a little 'bear'. At the end of the tour, he said he could drop up back to port to save waiting for a shuttle if we wished and recommended local food and drink. We had a great time.

Great way to experience a different part of Ketchikan

What a fun adventure and a unique way to explore different areas of Ketchikan! The pickup from the cruise ship was seamless. The short van ride to the location to get the e-bikes was beautiful. The bikes were easy to handle. The hike at the end of the road was informative and a great way to learn more about the Alaska nature. But the cherry on top was watching the black bear hunt for her salmon lunch in the creek. What a thrill to watch her catch a fish! Anika was a fabulous guide and it was enjoyable to experience her enthusiasm about Alaska. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Highlight of our Alaskan trip

This is a small group tour. Our guide, Aliyah,, was amazing. Her total knowledge and enthusiasm were remarkable! She stopped frequently to allow us to take pictures and actually study what was around us. The highlight of the tour had to be the siting of a mama grizzly and 2 cubs. We viewed the bears for about 15 minutes from the safety of our van. The things we saw were amazing. And seeing Emerald Lake first hand was breathtaking. . And a great lunch is included. Skip the train and take this small group tour. 5 plus stars

Easy and fun! Our excursion from port to the mine was easy! The guide was detailed and so informative with his mine experience. It was neat seeing the equipment and tools in action. We enjoyed the quick pan session. It was nice to see a family still carrying on the mine for educational purposes.

Best Day Ever!!

The ATV Adventures were SO MUCH FUN! We had such a great time and got to see so many beautiful sights along the way. You definitely get a little muddy, but that’s all part of the fun just dress appropriately! The people running the adventure were wonderful so friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Great excursion

We booked this tour for our stop in Sitka in Mid August from the cruise ship. We booked directly through Viator. We booked a shuttle bus to take us downtown which takes about 11 minutes. The trip was very informative, and our guide Sharon, told us so much information in the forest. We got back to town in plenty of time, walked around the shops then got the shuttle back to the cruise ship. Would recommend!

I rarely write reviews, but this experience touched my heart so much that I couldn’t not share it. What an absolutely extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime Alaskan adventure! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by people who were genuinely kind, welcoming, professional, and full of positive energy. Every person we encountered went above and beyond, and it made an already incredible experience feel truly magical. Ashley was our driver, and we absolutely loved having her with us. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely wonderful to spend time with. She made us feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Sam was our pilot, and I have to admit, I was nervous! But he was absolutely fantastic. He made the flight feel smooth, safe, and so much fun. I’ll never forget looking out at the breathtaking Alaskan scenery and realizing I was actually experiencing something I had only dreamed about. And then there was Maddie, our dog sled musher. She was AMAZING! She was so cool, so knowledgeable, and such a perfect match for us. We loved her energy and her personality, and you could truly feel the love she has for what she does. Learning from her and experiencing the dogs up close was something I will carry with me for a very long time. Honestly, the scenery was breathtaking, the adventure was unforgettable, and the entire experience was incredible—but it was the PEOPLE who made it truly special. Ashley, Sam, Maddie, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you for putting so much heart into what you do. Clay was great. Had a lot of information and was very accommodating. We saw a bear at the side of the road that walked right in front of the bus! The suspension bridge was a lot of fun even though it rained a lot. Going back and forth through Canada was a breeze with Clay’s help. Loved all of the waterfalls and the terrific views.
