Fantastic! Eagles, bear up very close but from a low bridge, deer with her baby, seals, and numerous otters and kethcik
Ted was a fantastic tour guide! He know where to find the bears and to draw the eagles close and was a bit funny and overall a great experience! I highly recommend it! Even brought us back to our Berth rather than the original pick up at visitor center. Tour is flexible enough to be aware of various persons ship boarding times.

Beautiful Juneau
Tour to see the glacier and whales was very well organized. Alaska Tales who is the tour company was great and moved my original schedule to a later one because my ship docked in the afternoon instead of morning. Mendenhall Glacier was magnificent and we saw 3 whales from the boat. The guides were wonderful and knowledgeable. We were lucky to have good weather. Overall it was a great first time experience and Juneau was beautiful.

Good for first=time helicopter passengers!
Awesome experience for a first-time helicopter passenger (I was)! Everyone was on time and very professional. The pilot was great! I will say, if you're experienced in flying in helicopters, I would not recommend this tour for a "glacier hike." We touched down on a random area of the glacier and walked around the immediate vicinity- not a dynamic experience, but it was a good experience overall. Very safe.

Perfect for Families
My husband and I had an amazing time on this excursion. We brought our two and a half month old daughter with us and we could not have been happier we chose the 4 hour option. It was perfect; just enough time to see everything we wanted to see (orcas, humpback whales, seals, otters, birds, not to mention the amazing views and coastlines), but not too much for our young child. The inside of the boat is heated and seating still gave us great views when we had to take breaks to feed her. We truly felt like we didn’t miss a thing. Highly recommend!

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
