Excellent guide. Extensive tour. Really saw most of Seattle. Indiginous people history, views from waterfront, and even a monorail to center. Just did everything.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
In this tour we do get to see much of the central areas of the city. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour!
Susan_A, Jun 2026
Very informative tour. Started the tour knowing very little about Seattle. Left with such knowledge of the city. This really helped us navigate the city for the remainder of our stay.

James was very informative and accommodating to the questions that the group posed to him. This tour gave us a good overview of some of the major parts and history of the city. Even though it was raining he was aware of stopping at places with overhangs to get out of the rain a bit. Overall would recommend as a good tour to take early on a trip to Seattle.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
The rumors are true, Seattle is a rainy city! But I'm so glad when folks are happy to brave the damp weather to walk through the city with me! Thanks for joining the tour

James was fantastic! It’s about 2.5 miles of walking but it’s not challenging walking. Most of the ppl on our tour were 70+ and had little/no issue with the walk. The sites are good and informative and would do it again!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Sounds like you had a great time, and that's my goal! Thanks for taking a walk with me,
- James

We just got to Seattle, and we’re so glad we did this tour! James was very knowledgeable but presented the information in a relaxed and interesting way. While we definitely walked those 2.5 miles he helped it to be easy with finding shade, explaining things along the way, and a couple restroom breaks as needed. We learned a lot and felt that James was happy to answer questions and be helpful with what everyone needed.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
We definitely cover some distance on the walk, but I do try and make it feel easy. I am always excited about questions from guests, even if I don't know the answers.
Thanks for the review!

As a first time Seattle visitor James was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about local history and points of interest. The pace of the tour and route encompassed was excellent. Ending at the expo site was great as we had the afternoon to explore this area. James answered all our questions. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore both historic Seattle and the modern attractions.

James was an awesome tour guide. The tour is aptly named. We covered a lot of ground but at a comfortable pace. Received a great deal of info and detail but not useless or overwhelming info.
The tour ended moments from the Space Needle after a one mile monorail ride, included in tbe tour price. We chose to head over to Chihuly Gardens, next door after the tour which was wonderful as well. We hopped back onto the monorail afterwards and returned to the Pike Place Market area where we were staying. We highly recommend this walking tour and James who is the owner/operator!
Response from Host, May 2026
